Chemistry is concerned, apart from IITs, most Public Universities have similar courses and curriculum, however I still believe Hyderabad University will be a better choice than Pondicherry University. Hyderabad University is one of the oldest and best universities in South India next to Anna University, IIT Madras, IISc Bangalore and Osmania University. Being located near Industrial Hubs and other Research Labs and Institutions in Hyderabad, itself provides huge scope and prospects in training and placements. Besides this, Hyderabad University has good infrastructure, faculty, research facilities and most importantly is one of the safest campus in South India.

*University of Hyderabad offers various Courses. The mode of application is online. To get the admission in the University of Hyderabad is not difficult. In the following way it will take the admission:-

*The Hyderabad University conducts Written Tests and Interviews to offers admission in Integrated MA, Integrated M.SC and MA, M.SC & MPH courses.

*Integrated M.Tech (Computer Science) admission is based on the score in jee main.

*M.Sc (Biotechnology) admission is offered through CEED conducted by JNU.

*GATE qualified candidates can apply for admission to M.Tech program. Hyderabad University will conduct a Written Test and Interview for the shortlisted candidates.

*CAT qualified candidates are eligible to apply for MBA course. Final admission is done through GD and PI.

*Admission to MCA program is based on the score in National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Application Common Entrance Test ( NIMCET ).

*MPA and MFA admissions are granted on the basis of Written Test and Practical Test/ Interview.

*M.Phil & Ph.D. admission is based on candidates’ performance in Written Test conducted by the university followed by an interview.

*UGC NET /CSIR NET/NBHM /JRF/ICMR/ ICAR/ DBT are also eligible to apply for M.Phil & Ph.D. courses. Such candidates will be exempted from the university-based Written Test.

4.Pay the application fee of INR 550 (INR 350 for OBC & INR 250 for SC/ST/PH) by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking.

University of Hyderabad doesn't offer bachelors degrees. They only offer Masters and above courses. How ever you can find a 5 year integrated M.Tech course where you can do a Bachelors and Masters together in 5 year frame. But remember, coming out of the course after 3 years will not fetch you a bachelors if you do integrated course.

While registering at UoH

Candidates have to apply for admission on the university website.

Then, candidates have to appear for a Written Test conducted by the University.

Final selection will be done based on the score obtained in the Written Test.

As for the eligibility:

For all the subjects, the minimum mark required in 10+2 is 60% with

the concerned subject as one of the main subjects.

For Mathematics and Hindi, there is an entrance test along with an

interview. The written test carries 75 marks, and the interview

carries 25 marks.

For all the other subjects, only the written test is conducted.
