Hello Jahanara,

The required cut off for admission into University of Hyderabad for a general category student is below 1000 rank approximately. If you manage to get this rank then you might have a chances to make it into the University for IMSc courses. Make sure to apply and appear for the counselling sessions.

Good luck!

Hello aspirant,

The University cannot provide hostel accommodation to all the students admitted into various courses in view of the limited number of seats.

Reservation of seats: Of the total number of seats in the hostels, 22.5% are reserved for candidates belonging to S.C/S.T. and 3% for Physically challenged students.

Application procedure: Application forms for hostel admission can be obtained from the Chief Warden's office after the admission process to a course is completed. The duly filled in form in duplicate should be submitted in the Chief Warden's office. After scrutiny of the applications with regard to eligibility, efforts will be made to finalize hostel admission on the same day. However, in case of any reason for delay in finalization, the applicants should make their own arrangements for stay till the admission is finalized.

Hope it helps!!

Hello,

The score of MAT September 2019 exam will be accepted by the MBA colleges for admission MBA or PGDM courses starting in 2020. The MAT exam score is valid for 1 year and The best MAT exam score would be considered to get the merit position during the admission process of the College you are looking to get admission in. The colleges in Hyderabad accepting MAT scores for admission are;

Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management - VJIM Hyderabad

GITAM Hyderabad Business School, GITAM Deemed University, Hyderabad

Vishwa Vishwani Hyderabad: Vishwa Vishwani Institute of Systems and Management

IPE Hyderabad: Institute of Public Enterprise

All the best!

Well you have got 4896 rank in NIMCET which is not so good. And obviously you are not going to get a nit with this rank. Because last year nit closed around 700. But there are other colleges which you will get like Dy Patil , maybe Anna. Nit sure about HBTU Kanpur. With this rank you will get a seat in Hyderabad University, but there is only slight chance.

All the best. And

Hope for the best.

Thank you.

Hi,
Speaking of your query, I would recommend you to wait till the university erases they are rounds cutoff. Because for each round the cutoff should be different and there might be a possibility of you getting into the college. Plus there will be some students who will be leaving even after the get admission to other colleges. So as of now we cannot predict anything. It's for you to wait and see what the university does.
All the best

Hello Avanthi Cheriyala,

BHU Cutoff Marks For http://M.Sc mathematics

See the entrance exam notifications, there is a notification on eligibility for intake. In that, you see there are very few seats available for every course. Less than 30 seats for every course(I think). For mathematics it's 16. Why worry then?

On further enquiry they said if you get more than 80%in the entrance exam, the seat is guaranteed.

And me? I wrote for I.Msc, mathematics as first option and will get some where around 40-45,so one less competitor. And why did they make bio compulsory for goddammit mathematics course?

Every year lot’s of student write the entrance exam of UOH in different 2 courses. so you are asking about MSc Mathematics I don’t know exact figure of student appear in entrance exam but competition is very tough once you clear entrance you will shortlist for interview very few of student crack the interview.

But real struggle start after admission in Mathematics department teacher are very strict every year lots of student failed in one or two subject. Some of student leave the university after first semester result. As a student of Uohyd last 2 years no one got gold medal resign behind this toper also got back in any subject.

If you work hard then you did’t get any back…

Hope this helps...

Thank you and all the best...

The infrastructure is not good, it is equipped with all the facilities like sports complex, gym, amphitheater, yoga centre and many more, the conditions of the hostels are average. Few are good but some have very poor condition. Wifi is available all over the campus. Living space is not so good for some hostels.
