Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualifications for admission:

  • At least 60% aggregate marks in the Master’s degree in Electronics Science /Electronics/Applied Electronics/ Electronics and Communication/ Engineering Physics & Instrumentation/ Physics(with Electronics as one of the Subjects)/ Radio physics/ Radio Physics & Electronics.
  • With at least 60% aggregate marks in the B.E./ B.Tech., in Electronics, Instrumentation and Control Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electronics and Control systems/ Electronics and Information Systems/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics Science and Engineering/ Electronics Technology/ Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering./ Instrumentation & Control Systems/ Instrumentation Technology.

Admission Details

Admissions are made through the Entrance Exam and interview conducted by the university.
