About UTU Dehradun
Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun (UTU) was established on 27th January 2005 by the Government of Uttarakhand through the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005. UTU Dehradun is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun is approved by the AICTE and Council of Architecture and recognised by the UGC. Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun (UTU Dehradun) offers postgraduate programmes in various disciplines such as engineering and pharmacy.
UTU Dehradun offers courses at the PG level that include M.Tech and M.Pharma. Admission to the M.Tech programmes at Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun (UTU Dehradun) is done based on the GATE scores, whereas the M.Pharma admissions require the GPAT entrance exam scores.

UTU Dehradun M.Pharma Admission Process 2025
For M.Pharma admission candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- GPAT.
Candidates have to visit the official website of the university and register themselves.
Then they have to fill up the application form with all the required details.
Candidates need to submit the application form and pay the application form fee online.
At the time of M.Pharma counselling, the first seats will be filled by the valid score GPAT candidates and if GPAT score candidates are not available then the remaining seats will be filled based on the merit of the entrance exam- UKSEE.
Uttarakhand Technical University admission is offered after verification of all required documents and payment of the fee.
UTU Dehradun M.Tech Admission Process 2025
Students have to appear for the entrance exam- GATE and also based merits of the qualifying examination for the M.Tech admission at Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.
Candidates can fill out the application form by directly visiting the official website of the UTU Dehradun.
During M.Tech counselling, the first few seats will be filled by the qualified GATE candidates and if candidates with valid GATE scores are not available then the rest seats will be filled according to the merit of the entrance examination- UKSEE.

Yes, the college has all the necessary things required for a good study n learning environment. Wifi, smart boards, and surveillance cameras are installed wherever needed. Canteen food is hygienic and tasty.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure is good equipped with spacious classrooms, Wifi(which never worked), Smart boards(used once or twice in a year). So everything we used is well-maintained as already mentioned their usage above. There is a facility of a furnished canteen as well for students.

College Infrastructure
College does have necessary infrastructure and facilities but needs proper maintenance. The equipments are bit old but functional. The college does have smart boards and WiFi but are not configured well throughout the campus. The hostels are clean and hygienic upto a level.

To be honest it's difficult to predict about a person if she will be getting a particular branch or not because Uttarakhand Technical University doesn't releases any official data about its cut off.
Although some conditions are considered while deciding the cut offs like choices filled by the candidates, number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.

Yes, you can get admission to GB pant nagar University as your marks are enough for non core branches in this college. However some things depends on certain conditions like choices filled by the candidates, number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
Non core branches such as electrical and electronics, electrical and communication, computer science branch. If you have some category reservation it would be much easier for you to grab a seat in this college.
