Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy, Sultanpur Admission Process

Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy, Sultanpur, has established itself as one of the prized institutions and foremost sources of pharmaceutical education in the state of Uttar Pradesh. With its affiliation to various statutory bodies, including Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the college provides and prescribes a comprehensive admission procedure for intending pharmacy students. The D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy) program is the major flagship program that is currently mainly focused on by the institute, which is, of course, the top program. The admission processes of Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy are geared towards attracting hardworking, scientifically-oriented candidates interested in pharmaceutical studies. The admission system, with some degree of variation over some years, generally follows a set path founded on academic merits and entrance examination results.

Application Process

Step-wise orderly application process for admission into Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy, Sultanpur, for D.Pharma:

1. Entrance Examination: Candidates are required to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Board of Technical Education (BTE), Uttar Pradesh. This examination is to test candidates' knowledge in the subjects concerned, as well as their aptitude for pharmaceutical studies.

2. Result Declaration: After conducting the entrance examination, BTE UP will declare the results. Those candidates who would be able to clear the examination would then be eligible for the counselling procedure. 

3. Counselling Registration: The qualified candidates are required to register for the BTE counselling process. This registration usually involves filling up an online application form and paying the requisite counselling fee.

4. Document Verification: During counselling, candidates will submit and verify documents including 10+2 mark sheets, entrance exam scorecard, and other relevant certificates as specified by the Institute.

5. Institute Selection: Candidates may select Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy, Sultanpur, as their preferred institute for the D.Pharma program during counselling.

6. Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted on a merit basis according to the rank achieved in the entrance exam and the preferences selected by candidates. If a candidate is given a seat to Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy, he/she will move to the next stage.

7. Admission Finalization: The recognized candidates undertake admission at the institute encompassing verification of documents, payment of fees, and compliance with any further formalities as instructed by the institute.

Degree wise Admission Process

D.Pharma The D.Pharma-Diploma in Pharmacy program is offered by Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy, Sultanpur, as its flagship program. This is a two-year course imparting the basics of pharmaceutical sciences to the students. Admission to D.Pharma is offered strictly on merit basis, with 60 seats available for this course. D.Pharma can be for an applicant who has passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry & Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB).

Admission in the D.Pharma counseling based on the entrance test conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education. Those candidates who clear this entrance test are then called for the BTE counseling wherein they can indicate their preferences among institutes including Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy. This process gives valid assurance of selection in favor of deserving and eligible candidates into the program.
