There  are many institutions in India which do not even allow to keep an ordinary mobile phone. Like in IMA, air force academy ,ota they do not allow and keeping a mobile phone can be a n issue.

maybe these institutions keep such a thing so that students may full attention on the course and curriculum as many students just pass their time over mobile phone.
