ACJ Chennai Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Eligibility:

• For Postgraduate Diploma Programs: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

• Relevant experience or demonstrated interest in journalism may also be considered during the selection process.

Selection Process:

• Admission is based on the performance in the entrance examination followed by a personal interview.

Application Process

1. Online Application:

   • Interested candidates should visit the official ACJ website and fill out the online application form. Ensure all required fields are accurately completed.

2. Document Submission:

   • Along with the application form, candidates need to submit scanned copies of the following documents:

     • Bachelor’s degree certificate and mark sheets

     • 10th and 12th standard certificates

     • Proof of identity and address

     • Recent passport-sized photograph

     • Any relevant work experience certificates or writing samples

3. Application Fee Payment:

   • Pay the required application fee through the specified online payment method.

4. Entrance Examination:

   • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take the entrance examination. The test is designed to assess:

     • General knowledge

     • Current affairs awareness

     • Language proficiency

     • Aptitude for journalism

5. Interview Round:

   • Candidates who perform well in the entrance examination will be called for a personal interview to assess:

     • Passion for journalism

   • The final list of selected candidates will be announced based on the combined performance in the entrance exam and interview.

7. Admission Confirmation:

Degree-wise Admission Process

• PGD Integrated Multimedia Journalism: This one-year program is designed to equip students with skills for modern multimedia journalism. Admission is based on performance in the entrance examination and personal interview.

• PGD Business and Financial Journalism: This specialized one-year program prepares students for careers in business and financial journalism. The admission process is also based on performance in the entrance examination and personal interview.

Both programs are full-time and integrate theory with practical training to produce skilled journalists ready for the current media landscape.
