The D.El.Ed course also has an approved intake of 100 seats. The selection procedure for D.El.Ed is as for B.Ed, and merit-based selection is the key. Candidates are assessed on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination and/or qualifying examination. Any other selection criteria fixed by the state government or UT Administration can also be taken into account. This course of two years provides students with the abilities required for elementary education.
