Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is a four-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed H.S.C. I.C.S.E., P.U.C. of any recognized Board/University in India or any other examination equivalent to 10+ 2(Higher/Senior) Secondary Examination after twelve years of study from any institution situated in India or 10 + 2 exam conducted by national institute of open school, candidates should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, biology and English individually and must have obtained 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and 40% in case of SC/ST students. Student should be Medically fit Minimum Qualifying marks for entrance test shall be 50%.
Candidates who are likely to appear, or who have appeared for qualifying examination but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible for appearing for the B.Sc. Nursing provided they fulfill the eligibility conditions mentioned above. The candidates who fail to fulfill the above mentioned conditions regarding eligibility will not be considered eligible for admission to B.Sc. Nursing programme, even if their names appears in the merit list.
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
Minimum Educational Qualification
a) Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) Recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
b) English is compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
Candidate shall be medically fit.
Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
Students shall be admitted once in a year.

Admission Details

A Candidate desirous of seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing Programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as stated in point no. 2 above.
He/She must have appeared for the B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Test, conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune at designated centres.
The Candidate shall be offered admission on the basis of his/her rank in the final merit list and availability of the seats for a particular programme at a particular institute of the candidate's choice at the time of counseling and admission in the concerned institute.
In the case of candidates securing equal aggregate marks their relative rank will be determined on the basis of following order of preference:
a) First preference to the Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology in the entrance examination.
b) If equal the Candidates obtaining higher total marks in subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in the 12th standard qualifying examination.
c) If equal, the candidates will be ranked according to their percentage of marks scored at SSC or its equivalent examination
d) When all the above scores are the same, the candidates will be ranked on the basis of computerized random numbering.
