The facilities and infrastructure for our course were excellent. The central library is large and well-equipped. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. High-quality food is served at the canteen or mess. The institute also emphasized physical health, with many sports facilities available.
Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members is innovative and distinguished from others. The course curriculum is relevant. Our institute supports not only academic development but also holistic growth. The semester exams are a bit challenging.
The placement rate in our course was nearly 98%. The highest package offered is 32 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, Mood, and others. About 80% of students received internship offers as well.
The facilities at college are good. The Wi-Fi on the campus sometimes doesn't work up to the mark. The library has all kinds of academic books required by the student to issue. The sports ground is of a decent size to play football and cricket. Medical Facilities are provided by the college.
The teachers provide the study modules on a WhatsApp group or the Amizone (Amity's website). The course curriculum is mostly the same as what is taught in the majority of the B.Tech colleges, with some extra subjects like language, behavioral science, etc. The semester exams are easy to pass if you have studied for 2-3 days before the exam or even 1 day.
Around 70%-75% of the B.Tech CSE of the 2024 batch got placed. The highest salary offered was 36 LPA, the average package would be around 6 LPA-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for CSE were Accenture, IBM, Carelon, Genpact, and Thales. Roles offered were mostly software engineer.
Facilities and infrastructure are top-notch. We have all the required things on campus like labs, pharmacy, wellness center, and library with all the reference books and normal books. The only thing I don't like is the Wi-Fi or the network, it sucks here. Only Vodafone sim might work well here. Hostel facilities are good but the drawback is that they only offer triple-sharing rooms which is sad because 2 roommates are allotted. I would say, the mess is much better as compared to other colleges in terms of taste and variety. Mess is like other mess only.
Mostly teachers are top qualified, but some of them just came for the salary. Course curriculum changes every year; they add some new subjects and drop some. Every semester there is a lot of difference in the course year-wise. Recently they are more focused on computer science subjects like programming languages—Python and some other subjects too.
90% of students were placed and among them, 10% got really good packages and good companies, it depends on CGPA. If you maintain more than 6 CGPA then you are most likely to get good companies or else average. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Times Now, MX Player, Radio Mirchi, Mediawire, and Zoom.

There is always Wi-Fi with a good decent signal. Labs are very grand and luxurious. There are labs for every stream. We also have a MAC lab. Classrooms have podiums, digital screens, and projectors. We also have a unified library. Hostels are similar to 5-star rooms at a hotel. The mess food is great, better than that of other universities.
Teachers are highly qualified and cooperative. We can meet them personally in their cabins to clear any doubts. The teaching standards at SRM follow a high level of proficiency. The courses are industry-collaborated and hence make students industry-ready from the start. The semester exams are easy to crack if one studies consistently. The pass percentage is 40%.
Approximately 95% of students get placed recently, with the highest package being 50 LPA and the average being 6 LPA. Major companies like Lava, Airtel, Brytecam, Infosys, etc. Students are able to get various roles within these companies. This is a very good number.
The infrastructure is the best part of the university. India's first Hands-on smart and active learning platform and classrooms with built-in Display (TV) in each class. The campus area is a little congested, but the food is healthy and hygienic, and okay in taste. There are medical facilities, an ATM, and canteens at affordable prices with delicious foods, regional foods, and drinks. With an all-purpose general departmental store for the students, stationery at each block, washrooms at each floor which are clean, 3-4 big playgrounds for activities like cricket, basketball, football, etc.
Teachers over 90% are seemingly very deeply knowledgeable in their respective fields and seem to teach pretty well. The teaching aspect is quite engaging with the students. Specific doubt sessions are conducted for students' doubts. Students are provided with each faculty member's numbers and emails for further doubt-solving issues. The curriculum is relevant and even up-to-date with the latest technology involved in teaching. If the students pay attention in the classes, then yes, they will get a deep understanding of what the industry wants and how to reach the goals. The semester exams are of a moderate level.
The percentage of students placed is relatively even. Last year, comparatively a good portion of students were placed into good companies with an average package of 6-8 LPA. Some of the highest ones include 15 LPA. Variety in recruiting companies can be seen over the past years. Some big ones include Oracle, Infosys, etc. Overall, if you study hard and try to study company-specific placement-oriented programs and all, then yes, it’s very likely you will get placed. Almost a good percentage, like 15-20%, got placed in some packages, and others also in decent ones. Top roles include product manager.
The hostel was good. The mess food was not up to the mark. The hostel had a gym, sports room, cafeteria, and library. Students here often spend most of their time, so it needs to be more like their home. Washing rooms were provided for washing clothes.
Teachers were knowledgeable. They were Ph.D. holders and had good knowledge in their field. They took tests every week to check the improvement. We had MTE and ETE exams, but the only problem was the attendance; students would get debarred if their attendance percentage was less than 75% in every subject.
The course finished on time. Almost everybody in my batch got placed with a minimum 3.2 LPA package. We had pre-placement talks. Internships were provided. I will only say that you need to be good in your academics for placement. Study hard to get better opportunities.
The exact fee range would basically above 2.5 lakhs and between 3 lakhs and 5.6 lakhs for the entire course duration which included hostels, placement, and other fees too. Even though the seats were too limited, the curious of students joining the college was unstoppable. College administration was so lethargic in responding.
There will be higher level of difficulty in clearing the examinations without undergoing any practice tests or exams. Professors were with sufficient subject knowledge and guided us in a correct way. The overall pass percentage for our discipline was usually above 79%.
The placement offered simply differs from one discipline to another usually it depends upon the placement office's efforts. Some of the recruiters had a stable relationship with the college for active recruitment. Cognizant and BCG were the top recruiters offering the highest package above 9 LPA.
Infrastructure of MSIT is not so good. Campus is only 8 acres, with the MSI campus also inside it. Buildings are also not very tall. Hostel facility is very poor. Hostels have common washrooms, which are not suitable for students. Mess food is average.
Faculty members at Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology are quite excellent and cooperative when it comes to academics. They support and encourage students to take part in tech events and internship opportunities, and they are quite good at giving internships.
Placement scenario is average in MSIT. Almost 80-90% students of B.Tech get placed every year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys hire a large number of students from our college. Some top roles offered by these companies are software developer, data analytics, etc.
Hostel facilities are decent with basic amenities. The mess and canteen food are average. The medical support is limited. Sports and games facilities are fairly good. Hostel facilities are decent. The food in the mess and canteen is average. The medical care is limited. Sports and games facilities are good. It has good infrastructure.
Questions are often a mix of repeated PYQs, some theory-based, and a few application-based questions, with around a 70% pass percentage. Internal marks, assignments, and practicals also add to the score, so consistent effort makes passing manageable. Overall, it has a pretty nice record.
Roles offered are data scientists, who build predictive models, analyze large datasets, and derive insights. Data analysts who work on data cleaning, visualization, dashboards, and reporting. A machine learning engineer who designs, trains, and deploys ML models into production. A business intelligence (BI) analyst who focuses on decision-making insights using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SQL. Data engineer who builds and maintains data pipelines, ETL processes, and manages big data frameworks.
Hello Aspirant,
With the world going digital, the IT sector today is a booming field and there is a huge demand for Computer Science Engineers. The demand is so high that IT companies recruit engineers not only from the CSE and IT branches but also from other engineering branches. However, engineers who pursue CSE have an edge over engineers from other streams because of the knowledge and skills gathered throughout the 4 years of engineering.
In terms of placements, there is a huge scope in CSE, in fact, it has taken the topmost position in placements as compared to the other fields. The average salary of CSE graduates in India is around 5.5 LPA, while many bag placements above 10 LPA.
