In Chandigarh Group of Colleges, every block has its own library, and there is a central library with all types of books. There are about 4 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels with all types of facilities. Good food, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, is provided in the hostel.
In Chandigarh Group of Colleges, there is a well-educated and experienced faculty. Every faculty member is trained on how to behave and handle situations to help students. There are 2 mid-semester exams and end-semester exams, which are of good difficulty levels.
am currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Technology in Block 9 at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, and I am in my 3rd semester. From my seniors, about 70-80% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Dell, and LG. Top roles offered are senior web developers
The infrastructure of classes is pretty decent and neat. One important thing they need to work on is the ventilation system, because it really gets humid when it’s summer. Each hostel room is okay, and the mess food is average. Do try the main IPU canteen’s chowmein and Jashn-e-Chai burgers; they are good!!
Professors here are well-educated and qualified. Each of them takes lectures for at least 50 minutes, and there are class activities involved each Friday. Semesters here are smooth; all you need to do is maintain your internal marks and attendance above 75% because they do make an issue regarding your attendance. You need at least a 50% credit score to pass your semesters, which is important for a law student to score.
The placement at KCC ILHE is good and moderate. Companies like Khaitan & Co visit us. As this is a law course, mostly students indulge in Judiciary preparation and litigation, but those who are interested in corporate law do get a chance to intern in different companies. And most importantly, guidance by the teacher is an essential part of your placement, and definitely your CGPA matters the most!!
The college’s infrastructure quality is very good and provides the best facilities such as a library, classrooms, bathrooms, labs, gymkhana, water drinking machines, computers, lift elevators, etc. The college canteen serves very tasty food that tastes like home-made food.
The college’s course curriculum is very relevant, and the best teaching facilities are available. The teachers are very intelligent and very helpful to students. This course has a total duration of 1 to 2 years, and there are 2 semester exams, which are very difficult to pass.
This college provides every student with placement facilities, but one condition is that a 7 CGPA is compulsory in your qualification degree. Many technology companies offer internships through the college and provide salaries ranging from 9 LPA to 25 LPA per annum.
The infrastructure of the college is well planned and developed. The whole campus is covered with Wi-Fi, and the classrooms have smart boards. The labs are updated with the latest technology, computers, and have an Apple lab. The food available in the mess and canteen is freshly prepared and delivered in good packaging. The campus also has medical facilities and organizes an annual sports meet.
Teachers are also disciplined because they are regular in lectures and always teach with sincerity. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is relevant and makes the students ready for industrial work. The semester exams are average, and the passing criteria are to score 40% marks in each subject.
The percentage of students placed in this course is about 15%. The students of this course got the highest package of 15 LPA and the lowest package of 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Okie Dookie, Samridhi Private Limited, and many more. 70% of students got internships in these companies. Top roles offered are data analyst and machine learning.
The facilities at college are good. The Wi-Fi on the campus sometimes doesn't work up to the mark. The library has all kinds of academic books required by the student to issue. The sports ground is of a decent size to play football and cricket. Medical Facilities are provided by the college.
The teachers provide the study modules on a WhatsApp group or the Amizone (Amity's website). The course curriculum is mostly the same as what is taught in the majority of the B.Tech colleges, with some extra subjects like language, behavioral science, etc. The semester exams are easy to pass if you have studied for 2-3 days before the exam or even 1 day.
Around 70%-75% of the B.Tech CSE of the 2024 batch got placed. The highest salary offered was 36 LPA, the average package would be around 6 LPA-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for CSE were Accenture, IBM, Carelon, Genpact, and Thales. Roles offered were mostly software engineer.
It's about average. But infrastructure is not upto mark. I think they should improve. Many students placed at low package. Campus has 128 acres of land and does not even have its own hostel. Students have to travel from sector 62 to sector 128 which is very bad.
All are average. Teachers are okay and helpful. Curriculum is also okay. Semester exam difficulty is high. Still not sure about the pass percentage I think about 25%. Attendance requirement is 70 which is compulsory otherwise you will be debarred from that course. Faculty members are okay.
About 90% of students got placed among my seniors. The average package is about 11.8 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Most of the students placed at about 5 LPA packages. Many top companies visit here but recruit very less students. Paid internships are available. Still its okay types.
The infrastructure of campus is quite modern and very good. Wi-Fi is above average. The library is available and very good. The location of the campus is in the middle of the city, and everything is available near the campus. Medical facilities are also available. Sports facilities are not good. The hostel is above average.
Faculty members are quite good, experienced, and also qualified. The curriculum for the course is also very good, and it includes those topics which are relevant for the industry. Exams take place 3 times a year: 20, 20, and 35 marks respectively, and 25 marks are for internal assessment. They are of average difficulty, and if you study in lectures, then you can score in the exams easily.
am in B.Tech CSE the placement are Above 90% of students are placed on campus. The average package is 10 LPA, and the median package is 8 LPA. The maximum top companies visit the campus for placements. The top role offered in our course is the SDE role. Mass recruiters also visit our campus.
All classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and labs have all the necessary equipment. The quality of the food is good. Sports facilities are limited and have a small ground. There is one MPH in my college where the college conducts all events.
Some faculty members are well-experienced and have done the graduation from prestigious institutions like IIT and NITs. Some of them are PhD holders and if we need any type of help from the faculty members then they will be the ones to help us. Some faculty members are bad.
Placements are pretty decent here we have got batch of 30 students (named f18. This year in college, the average package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 8 LPA. The highest package of the college is 15 LPA this year. CSE and IT courses only have good placement records.
am in the 128 sector branch where the infra is very below par. There was some construction going on, and also the size of the cafe was so small that it became congested during heavy hours. On top of that, MPH, the multipurpose hall is always occupied with some cultural activities, so there is no place to hang out in the college
Exams are one of the worst parts, as every subject used to have 3 exams, and labs had 4 evaluations per semester. On top of that, you also have to submit projects, assignments, etc., which makes the schedule very hectic and unenjoyable. In my experience, college life is pretty bad at this college.
Despite the slow placement season for all. The college had pretty above-average placements, as many top companies like Adobe, Amazon, and Google came and gave offers up to 12 LPA, and the second highest of 8 LPA, which is pretty great and up to the standards, which is nice.
Wi-Fi and labs are satisfactory, while classrooms are average. The library is good. Hostels are nice, but the mess food is bland. Sports facilities exist but are poorly maintained. Medical assistance is available and efficient. Classrooms could use some renovation. The college infrastructure isn't exceptional; it's a single-building college. The surrounding area needs improvement.
Some teachers are helpful and appear qualified, but teaching quality varies. All instructors use PPT exclusively. The curriculum is efficient as it focuses on important subjects and seems industry-ready. Exams are tough, making it difficult to maintain a good CGPA.
70% of students were placed in B. Teach CSE. The highest salary was 20 LPA, with an average of 3-4 LPA. Top recruiters included Amazon, TCS, and EY. Most roles were development or analyst positions. 60% secured internships, though college support was limited. Roles included developer, analyst, and QA
Hello Aspirant,
With the world going digital, the IT sector today is a booming field and there is a huge demand for Computer Science Engineers. The demand is so high that IT companies recruit engineers not only from the CSE and IT branches but also from other engineering branches. However, engineers who pursue CSE have an edge over engineers from other streams because of the knowledge and skills gathered throughout the 4 years of engineering.
In terms of placements, there is a huge scope in CSE, in fact, it has taken the topmost position in placements as compared to the other fields. The average salary of CSE graduates in India is around 5.5 LPA, while many bag placements above 10 LPA.
