Degree wise admission process

B.Sc (Non-Medical and Medical): There are B.Sc courses in Non-Medical and Medical Fields, each with an approved intake of 60 students. Admission to these courses is dependent on the performance of the candidate in the 10+2 examination with science subjects. The Non-Medical stream is suitable for students with a strong background in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, whereas the Medical stream caters to those interested in Biology along with Physics and Chemistry.

B.Com and B.Com (Hons): Both programs have an approved intake of 60 students each. Admission is based on the merit obtained in the 10+2 examination, preferably having taken Commerce or Mathematics subjects. The B.Com (Hons) may have slightly higher eligibility criteria compared to the regular B.Com course.

BBA: This program in Bachelor of Business Administration is designed for an intake capacity of 60 students. Admission is based on performance shown in the 10+2 examination from any other stream. However, students from Commerce or Mathematics streams might have added advantage.

BA: This is a flexible curriculum Bachelor of Arts program whose intake is 60. Admission is open to all students who have passed their 10+2 from any recognized board and stream.

BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications has an approved intake of 60. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the subjects in order to apply. Admission is done on merit in the qualifying examination.

MA Punjabi: Intake in this PG program is 30. A bachelor's degree with Punjabi as one of the subjects qualifies for admission. The selection is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree.

PGDCA: Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications is for 30 students. Graduates with any discipline can apply to it by preference given to those having Computer Science/Mathematics backgrounds.
