Burdwan Institute of Pharmacy, Bardhaman, is one of the famous institutes for pharmaceutical education of high standards in the state of West Bengal. The Burdwan Institute of Pharmacy admission procedures are maintained with a simple orientation as per the needs of the students. The institute, through its Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) course, intends to give good knowledge in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.

Entrance test merit may be counted for the admission process for consideration of applicants along with merit achieved in the last qualifying exam. The D.Pharma course is a two-year undergraduate course designed to give the students a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical sciences. The approved intake of the institute for this course is 60 seats.
