Degrees Wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The Ch. Katar Singh Memorial College of Education offers B.Ed., an initial intake sanctioned for 100 seats. During admission considerations for the B.Ed. course, merit is defined by the percentage of the applicant in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. The selection process conforms to check on any other requisition as per the selected state government, UT Administration, and the university. For admission to the B.Ed. program, candidates are expected to have completed graduation or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): Ch. Katar Singh Memorial College of Education offers D.El.Ed. for 50 seats. Admission to D.El.Ed. is again granted on merit, with consideration given to the performance in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination, just like in the case of B.Ed. Besides that, any other selection process deemed necessary by the state government, UT Administration, and the university will then be put into consideration. As a general rule, anyone who has completed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination prescribed by a recognized board is eligible to apply for the D.El.Ed. program.
