Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences is one of the best medical institutes in Karnataka. • If allocated, then report to CIMS for admission formalities, including document verification and payment of the required tuition fee.

CIMS MBBS Admission Process

The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course at CIMS has an intake of 150 seats. CIMS admission into the MBBS course is based on the NEET-UG examination score. Candidates are required to have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects.

CIMS Masters of Surgery (MS) Admission Process

CIMS offers various MS programmes related to Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Orthopaedics. The total number of seats in MS courses is 14. CIMS admission is through NEET-PG, via a counseling event afterwards.

CIMS Doctor of Medicine (MD) Admission Process

The institute offers MD programmes through community medicine, microbiology, anaesthesiology, biochemistry, and pathology. The total MD intake is 8 seats. Similar to the MS programme, selection for admission into MD courses depends on NEET-PG scores and counseling.
