Have a question related to Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran, Mohali (CGC Landran) ?

Please tell me about colleges :JSS NOIDA and CGC landran for btech... Will they be worth it?

    Hello!

JSS Academy of Technical Education, NOIDA and CGC Landran are both popular engineering colleges with decent infrastructure and placement opportunities.

JSS NOIDA is known for its good faculty and industry connections, especially in North India, and offers solid placement support in core engineering branches.

CGC Landran, near Chandigarh, is also well-regarded for its campus facilities and has collaborations with various industries. It offers good training and placement opportunities, especially in CSE and ECE branches.

Both colleges can be worth it if you focus on academics and skill development. However, placements and quality vary by branch and year, so it’s good to check recent placement records and reviews.

For detailed info on fees, placements, and admission process, you can visit the official websites or check trusted education portals like Careers360.

    Hope this helps!

which is much better chandigarh university or cgc landran ? And why?

    Hi,

Joint placement program- the placements of both the colleges happen together, so I guess it wouldn't be a deciding factor.

Establishment- Chandigarh university was setup in 2012, while Chandigarh group of colleges was setup in 2001. Bonus points for cgc!

Exposure- If you're thinking that you would get a better exposure and culture at CU because it's a university, then, hello? CGC also offers other programs than engineering ! Doesn't the name clarifies it all? CHANDIGARH GROUP OF COLLEGES!  Duh!

Advertising- have you ever come across an ad welcoming you to join cgc? But you must have noticed the television commercials and newspaper advertisement of Chandigarh university. I have. Cgc wins here too.

Scholarship- Chandigarh university beats cgc here, one can avail 50% tuition fees discount here just by scoring 9.6 or above cgpa in X class.  Bingo right? Wrong, after the deduction of 50% fees, the amount you will have to pay would be equal to what you'll pay at cgc. So I guess minus points for cu for using such gimmicks.

All in all, cgc would be a better choice among the two. :)

    hi,

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology and chandigarh group of colleges both has excellent college infrastructure, wifi campus, excellent faculty, state of art lab technology etc. however placement is moderate in both of the colleges, while cgc landra has better placement record, almost 80% students get placed and have average packages around 4.5 lpa. where mmmut has average packages around 3.6 lpa.
