Chourasiya Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Katangi Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Chourasiya Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, located at Degwa Katangi in the Jabalpur District of Madhya Pradesh, is an NCTE-approved institution of higher education for training teachers; its admission procedure follows the norms laid down by the state government, union territory administration, and the affiliated university.

The admissions procedure shall be made on merit, taking into account the marks scored in the qualifying exam and, if any, the entrance exam, and/or any other criteria as may be determined by the respective authorities. The college thus adheres to a very stringent process in selecting the very best among them.

Application Process

The admission process provided by Chourasiya Shiksha Mahavidyalaya consists of these procedures:

1. Eligibility Check: Ensure your eligibility against criteria set by the college and affiliated university for the B.Ed. Program.

2. Application Form: Collect Application Form for B.Ed. Program and complete it. Application forms can be obtained from the Admission Office of the College or you could download it from official sources.

3. Submitting Documents: Attach relevant documents with the filled application form. Document sets may include:

   • Mark sheets of the qualifying examinations

   • Entrance movement scorecard (if applicable)

   • Certificate of character

   • Transfer certificate

   • Migration certificate (if applicable)

   • Caste certificate (if applicable)

   • Any other documents as per the requirement of the university or college

4. Entrance Examination: The requirements of the State Government or University, whichever is applicable, will prescribe that an entrance examination must be taken by the candidates.

5. Merit List Publication: Merit list will be prepared by the college based on the marks obtained in the qualifying and/or entrance examination.

6. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Candidates on the merit list will then be invited to attend counseling, whereupon merit, the available seats will be assigned.

7. Fee Payment: There will be stipulated periods within which candidates will be required to pay the admission fee to lock in their admission.

8. Document Verification: The college will verify the submitted documents for the final admission.

9. Orientation: Orientation shall be conducted with the selected students to have an overview of the college, faculty and curriculum.

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education)

• Seats: 100 (approved intake)

• Eligibility: Candidates must have, at least, passed the prescribed qualifying examinations as per the norms established by the affiliated university.

• Selection Procedure: Merit determined by the marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination determines admission to the B.Ed program. Moreover, the primary purpose of establishing the program will be to prepare professional educators ready to play a progressive role within the educational industry.
