CKS College of Education, Vellore Admission Process

CKS College of Education, Vellore, is a widely popular name in teacher education, Tamil Nadu. It caters to many courses in education, thus preparing future competent teachers for the job. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: An approved intake of 100 students will be admitted to the B.Ed program at CKS College of Education on the basis of merit from the qualifying examination and/or specific selection criteria as set by the college.

BA B.Ed- An integrated program of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education is offered by the College with an approved intake of 100 students. This program allows a student to finish his degree in arts along with a teaching degree at the same time. The admission process for this integrated course is based on the candidate's performance in their 10+2 examination and may include any other selection criteria put forth by the college.

B.Sc. B.Ed.- This integrated program is offered through a B.Sc.B.Ed. course similarly to the BA.B.Ed. program with an approved intake of 100 students. It combines a Bachelor's degree in science with a teaching degree. Admission to this program is likely based on the candidate's performance in their 10+2 examination with a special emphasis on science-related subjects.

M.Ed: Approval for an intake of 50 students into Master of Education (M.Ed). Admission into the M.Ed. program are made on merit, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (usually a B.Ed degree) and/or performance in an entrance examination. Selection procedures of state government and the affiliated university are followed by the college.

D.El.Ed: Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with approved intake of 50 students. The program's admission is based on merit listing of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or performance in an entrance examination under state government and affiliated institution policies.

M.Phil. Education: CKS College of Education also offers an M.Phil program in Education.
