    Safe and secure college environment

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

My college infrastructure is awesome. Every lab has good ventilation and is spacious. It is not fully packed and every person gets their doubts cleared. Mess is good and sports are also good. We can play whatever games we want. Canteen facility is there. Food in the mess will be good.

    Academics

Teachers are very helpful in every subject. They can even explain in whichever language we want fluently. They teach to the speaking level and are very good at teaching. There are 2 mids for each semester. Every semester exams will be easy, if we study from time to time.

    Placements

In my college, 89% of students secured placements in their 3rd year. The maximum package is 35 LPA. The minimum package is about 3 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA. Many companies came for placements. This is a very good opportunity.

Overall, the campus has a nice environment and infrastructure with many facilities for students and staff. Good labs, playground, and auditorium are there. Heard that the hostels are also well-maintained and the food in the hostel is also very good. They prepare good quality items.

    Academics

Faculty: Faculty members are good at teaching and guiding students. We can get help from them for any doubts. Some teachers might not be very responsible about classes. The lab in charge is rude sometimes. The library facility is very good. It has a wide range of books for students and teachers.

    Placements

Don't know much about placements but heard from the seniors that the placement offers are not that high. The highest package has been reduced this year. Last year it was about 56 LPA. If I am not wrong but this time it has been reduced to 40s (please check the official website for correct details about this

Having good college life with a good college system.

    College Infrastructure

Wi-Fi doesn't work that great, but we have ethernet in almost everywhere except in classrooms and the canteen. So, it works and mobile data won't work properly in a few areas. Especially in the library, where neither the net nor Wi-Fi works, ethernet is the only way to go. We have proper medical facilities, and the canteen as affordable and good food

    Academics

Most of the teachers are helpful, only a few are strict, but in the end you'd realize they are right for being strict. For doubts, I opt for YouTube mostly, but teachers are ready to help if asked. For curriculum relevance, I don't know why I had to study Chemistry to become a software engineer. So, there is useless stuff. Semester exams are kind of packed, like midterms, externals, and internals, all are scheduled together, no break. So, it feels exhausting, but it is easy to score.

    Placements

CMR College of Engineering and Technology has a good placement system. Almost 90% of the students are placed in the placements. The offering companies like Amazon, Microsoft, etc. Internships are also offered with good companies.

Our college infrastructure is very nice. But, when it comes to the hostel, the infrastructure is good. But their facilities are not as mentioned, and they don't provide perfect management for a hostel. Coming to our labs and classrooms, everything is very good. The equipment is good, except in the Physics lab. The hostels are clean, as they were recently built. Sometimes, the equipment in the Physics lab gives different readings for different professors. We have super cool classes and Wi-Fi-enabled labs for every needed subject. These labs are well-equipped with all facilities and software needed. In addition to software labs, we also have electrical, mechanical, and civil-related labs.

    Academics

Most of our teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are also very helpful to students and clear all doubts. We have the best faculty members for it.
