• The CMS College of Science and Commerce, Coimbatore Ph.D admissions are done in two stages through an entrance test, called the Common Eligibility Test (CET), and an interview. 

• The Ph.D entrance tests are conducted in June/July every year at different centres like Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur, Ooty and Pollachi / Udumalpet. 

• Candidates with having Master's degree are eligible to appear for CET. 

• The candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SLET / SET / GATE and other equivalent examinations are exempted from CET. 

• Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination are called for the interview process.
