Co-operative College of Nursing, Thiruvananthapuram, was set up in the year 2008, it is an affiliated college in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Geographically located in the State of Rajasthan in India it is acknowledged by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) for running two courses of nursing and has a total student capacity of two hundred and sixty nine. The college is located on a 5.5 acre land and has 37 faculty members in its team. It offers degree based full time courses in B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing for the students those who want to build up their career into healthcare profession. As a college, its primary function is to provide nursing education, to graduate professional, competent, efficient, and most of all, caring health care professionals.
The Co-operative College of Nursing has a concern of ensuring that it offers its students with appropriate learning environment. The infrastructure in the campus is well developed in order to meet the need for commons education as well as co-curriculum activities. In this college, the library comprises a collage of textbook, reference books, periodicals, journals and e-library resources in order to enhance the pool of knowledge of the students. In this regard, the institute has designed functional laboratories to facilitate hands on training with relevant equipment. It also focuses on the over all development of the students through sports and games amenities. This is a merit-based admission institution through which one may be granted a place according to one's marks in the qualifying examination.
