Verified ReviewCollege Infrastructure
A large amount of are available here, The first and second year hostels are little bit but third and final year hostels are too good . The sports of CIT is the best around Coimbatore. They offers lots of sports goods and encourage talents. Wi-Fi and smart board facilities are fetched here.
Academics
The syllabus is fully relevant to the current technologies. Which is Updated one and more helpful to the nowadays updation. I am studying BE-ECE here. The way of teaching is good one here. Academic coachings are the best one for development. Overall from all the departments it is the best knowledge providing institution .
Placements
Almost 70% of students from our department have qualified and got placement in multinational companies also. The average salary package is about 20000. The placement process is started right from second year.
Value for Money
The fee for the course is 60000 per year. In our institution the training fetcentere is fetched for the placement development with foreign companies. They providing us the best hands on trainings and working practices. For that they didn't make any fee.
Campus Life
College offers 27 clubs for students personality development. High facilized gym facility is fetched here. The teachers were highly qualified and they are able to impart the subject to us in an efficient way.

I like the college. Its not like other colleges. fun life
College Infrastructure
College have all facilities and equipment. But it does not have good infrastructure. Infrastructure is very poor. Teaching is good, staffs are very helpful. All equipments are allowed to use . Equipments are well maintained
Academics
I am studying civil engineering. Good quality of teaching. Yes my curriculum is updating accordingly to the recent developments. Every year regulation is getting updated. Staffs are really helpful. Staffs are friendly.
Placements
Good companies come here for placement. Highest salary pacakage was 55lpa in ece department. Big companies for all departments come for placements. Preparation for placement is given separatly after classes
Value for Money
Cost of studying per year is 80000 excluding hostel fees. It is valuable for money
Campus Life
Campus life is enjoyable and worth it. We n number of clubs. Those club details will be available in college website.

Dear candidate ,
With your given cutoff of 181.5 and BC rank of 32,704 , you are not likely to get CSE or top branches at CIT or GCT Coimbatore . Their BC cutoffs for CSE are much lower ( around 3,000 - 18,000 ) .
However , you have good chances in other Coimbatore colleges like Kumaraguru , Sri Ramakrishna , Sri Krishna , or BIT , especially in later rounds .

With a TNEA score of 185 in the BC category, you have a strong chance of securing admission to the Chemical Engineering program at CIT Coimbatore. In the last two years, the cutoff marks for BC students in this branch hovered around 180 to 186, and since your score meets or slightly exceeds those figures, you’re in a good position—especially in later counselling rounds.

The distinctions between CIT and TCE (Thiagarajar College of Engineering) are negligible. Select CIT if you're in Coimbatore. Alternatively, select TCE if you are in Madurai or if you believe it is closer to our hometown. The courses offered by CIT and TCE are identical, with the exception that CIT also offers Chemical Engineering. Notably, TCE ranks #1 in research across the nation of India.
