Degree wise Admission Process

The admissions are normally through marks secured at the passing examination with emphasis on the marks secured in mathematics and computer science.

B.Sc. Information Technology: For B.Sc. IT course, students having passed 10+2 with mathematics and physics as mandatory subjects are eligible. The admission process is merit-based, taking into account the general percentage in the qualifying exam with special focus on mathematics and science subjects.

B.Sc. Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemistry: These life science courses ask for 10+2 with chemistry and biology as core subjects. The admission is through the marks secured in these subjects and the performance in the qualifying test.

B.Sc. Mathematics: Admission into B.Sc. Mathematics is available to students passing 10+2 with mathematics as a primary subject. Selection will be based on the merit list drawn as per the marks scored in mathematics and overall merit in the entrance exam.

M.Sc. Information Technology and Computer Applications: This postgraduate course demands a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field. Admission is made on the basis of the merit list drawn from the marks secured in the qualifying degree exam.

M.Sc. Microbiology/Chemistry: For these postgraduate courses, the candidates should have already done their bachelor's degree in the same subject or allied subject. The selection is done based on the merit list from the marks secured in the qualifying degree exam.
