College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pantnagar Admission Process

College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pantnagar, is a renowned constituent of G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology. The college has a full-time curriculum at various levels of veterinary and animal science, namely, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. The college attempts to have a very competitive admission procedure on a merit basis to select the most talented and deserving candidates from all across the country. Admission is usually conducted in the month of May-June for the August-September academic session. Depending upon the program, different national-level entrance tests are applicable for applying to the college. Relevant entrance tests are for undergraduate programs, while postgraduate and doctoral degrees are for entrance tests framed by the university and other national bodies.

For the undergraduate admission of the B.V.Sc. Animal Husbandry program, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. The final selection however depends on the entrance examination score. Admission into postgraduate programs (M.V.Sc) is based on a undergraduate in the relevant field with a minimum of 55-60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Degree wise Admission Process

B.V.Sc Animal Husbandry: The admission of the B.V.Sc Animal Husbandry is based on relevant entrance examination performance assessed at the college. The college has 62 seats for this program. Candidates need to have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects to be eligible.

M.V.Sc: The college has 18 specializations in M.V.Sc with a total of 58 seats. Admission will be based on the Competitive University Entrance Examination conducted by G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant field for eligibility.

Ph.D.: Here, there are 15 Ph.D specializations with 55 seats. Admission shall be based on the Competitive Entrance Examination conducted jointly by G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. For eligibility, candidates have to possess a master's degree in the relevant discipline.

The last year cutoff's are like this, thy accepted upto 115 rank for general category. in veternary as there are limited seats of 62 only and the candidates of applied are increasing, the cutoff are increasing So, If you particulary want to know how much marks you have to gain is it should be around 500+and u should secure a rank below 115
