I am studing Bachelors of Vocational in Management and marketing of insurance. I am studying this course because I have deep interest in finance and want to learn more about this subject and deepen my knowledge.
The placement cell of the college aspire works very well. The staff and faculty are very supportive and if any student faces any issue then it gets resolved easily and does not get prolonged. I would recommend studying here

College of vocational studies have two buildings one is new building and old building . All the facilities like library, laboratories and classroom are of basic infrastructure and have the facilities like wifi smart boards
The professor and faculty members are experienced. This course follow basic syllabus form many years as like other Delhi University college. This course is enterpreneur related focused on the set up of startups.
The college of Vocational studies have set up the placement cell that provide different job opportunities in marketing, business development, sales. They follow very basic structure of placement procedure m
You can definitely enjoy your college life in this college
The infrastructure of the college is really good. It aims to provide a well-quipped environment fo learning, research and student comfort. The living spaces like classrooms, hallways are cleaned everyday and the food's hygienic.
I am studying BA. Vocational in Management and marketing of insurance and this subject greatly interests and I was keen on knowing about it. The curriculum is updated and we get to learn about the various aspects of risk
There is a placement cell in our college and the internships and co opprograms allow students to gain real life experience. Our college focuses on skill development beyond theortical knowledge that can produce graduates with practical skills.
The quality of education, curriculum, including the faculty, resources, the teaching methods results in the students receiving quality education and valuable skills and all of this makes the money that is spent worth it.
Very good.
Excellent
College of Vocational Studies is situated in Shiekh Sarai. When this college was started ,the infrastructure contained a single building named old building (OB),apart from that building, college's infrastructure contains a library, sports room, medical room, conference room, computer lab, staff room, washrooms and bcr(boys common room) and gcr(girls common room), these two common rooms are rest rooms for students.Few years ago college built a new building named (NB),which is also used for classes.
When we talk about academics , College of Vocational Studies is mediocre.Teachers are unable to finish the syllabus on time.Students have to study on their own or enroll in coaching institutes to the for exams.Teachers were only able to finish half of the units in full semester.Classes used to happen but sometimes they were cancelled due to college meetings of teachers.Students usually study on their own in college's ,so this should not be a major concern or reason for not taking admission here.
Placements are really nice here, Companies from fields of finance, digital marketing, management, consultancy, edutech, audit, social media app companies and clothing companies come here for placements. For placement companies take aptitute test, group discussion rounds and finally personal interview for selection.Big companies like Deloitte,PWC,De Shaw, and many more come here for hiring of employees.Hardworking students can easily get placed here.
College of Vocational Studies,Sheikh Sarai is a college of Delhi University which makes it already worth it.The DU degree is really valuable and Delhi University colleges provide education at an economical fees which makes it a real value-for-money.A DU degree is better than a private university degree which is the reason for choosing CVS or any other DU college.
The campus life is blissful and joyful.Students come and interact with each other.Students also participate in societies and which help in personality development of students along with increase in chances of getting a placement.Their are fests of every society which is the best time in college life.It is the time when attendance is the most in college and you get to see students whom you never saw in classes !
College of Vocational Studies is overall a good college.Students should definitely come here for admission. The crowd here is great and is perfect for personality development and also doing well in academics (getting a DU degree) is surely worth it. The infrastructure, academics and every other aspect is decent to select this college.
Yes , my college have all the necessary infrastructure...it has a big library and wifi is available in the college ...there are computer labs but the computers are not so good many of them are not working ...college also has a canteen with good food ...spaces are clean and hygienic.
I'm studying computer science Hons because I wanted to persue in IT world. My course curriculum is good and updated yes it makes us job ready . Teachers are quite good and helps us to grab topics well.
Our college has minimum or zero placements for computer science students you have to work really hard to get a placement but not more than 3-4 lakhs per annum which is too low. Highest salary offered is 5-6 lakhs .
My course cost 45000 per year but it is not worth it .Because the lab classes can't be scheduled properly because of lack of computers in the lab ..students have to bring their own laptops and work on their own to learn practical knowledge of the subject.
Campus Life is quite good ...there are so many societies in our help which helps students to learn and explore new things or things they want to be good in or interested in .The location of our college is safe ...bus and metro station are near to the college .
Infrastructure is very old and not at all good. Benches are broken and the college doesn't have proper classrooms with well developed amphitheater. Although the college has a new building where the classes and facilities are comparatively better. College has a huge ground for football, volleyball, basketball, cricket and badminton.
Academics is average, most of the times classes are cancelled but the faculty is good. You need to take your own plunge to study in the college, teachers will only be helping you with the lectures and internals, nothing else.
Placements can be great if you work hard on it but normally it's just average. Working on your resume by doing decent internships and taking the experience of various fields helps in assessing things better before sitting for the placement.
Since fees of the college is very low, Value for money is immensely high as you get to learn plethora of things in the campus. The clubs gives you immense opportunities to learn and grow. College is best known for its societies only and the culturals here.
Peers and clubs are just excellent and very active. One cannot regret coming here in terms of college life. The whole cultural wing will give you a trip throughout the college life and you will enjoy as hell!!!
Never got a chance to visit due to lockdown. But by looking at pictures... pretty sure its good. Cannot say much about it to be honest... but this says i have to write a minimum of 200 character for this review.. so here it is
Faculty is pretty good. Got to learn a lot new things. Teachers are very helping and considerate. Even though classes are online, i am able to understand each and everythiing really nicely. Being an hons student, i am able to get in depth knowledge.
Average... didn't come across anything relevant yet. Again can not say much about it because i have never actually been to the college. But I didnt got to hear about the placement cell so much.. maybe its not that active
Really good
Never experienced due to lockdown
Satisfied
We didn't get to explore the college due to lockdown and all but I went there once and I was amazed with the infrastructure. I did notice that there were smart boards in each classroom and the buildings are beautifully painted which makes it a good spot for clicking pictures.
I am a student of Marketing Management and Retail Business. I've chosen this as my major because it was completely different from what we are always told to do like medical, commerce, arts etc. It offers a complete set of new skills which are really vital in this developing world. The quality of teaching is excellent, the teachers are really good with what they teach. They also give us space and platform to share what we think is right. All in all it really is a great experience learning here.
I don't have much knowledge about this particular subject but what I have heard from my seniors is that there are renowned companies which comes for the placement to our college every year and the amount of students placed is pretty great.
10k was what I paid for a year and it is absolutely worth it.
There are many societies which provides you with variety of experiences and that has been a main highlight for me. The teachers and the support staff are very helpful and they try and solve our queries at their earliest. The location is safe, you can hire yourself a rickshaw to the metro station which is a ten minute distance from the college, there is also a very famous mall nearby which is called Select City Walk which is a plus.
It is a good college with great teachers and quality studies. You also get experiences that'll benefit you in the long run through the college societies.
Our class hasn't had the opportunity to experience campus life, but I've heard from our seniors that it's fairly wonderful. The food served in the campus canteen is delicious and sanitary. On the college campus, students can participate in a variety of sports. The medical facilities are excellent.
Teachers are fantastic people who always go out of their way to help students. They can always be looked up to by students. Between pupils and teachers, there is no communication barrier. Our lecturers are really considerate and well-informed, and I am pursuing B.Com Hons. The education will undoubtedly prepare you for future opportunities.
Companies such as EY, EXL, Byju's, MakeMyTrip, and many others participate in the college's placement campaign. The hiring process is always straightforward. It has a well-functioning placement cell. Almost 70% to 80% of the students were distributed in various locations. Overall, it is a fantastic university.
MMRB's total fees is 30,450 INR and it's worth it.
Campus life is average and the crowd of CVS is amazing.
