    College Infrastructure

SOL is the element of University of Delhi. This school facilitate students with all basic needs like smart classrooms, computer lab, auditorium, sport space, medical and many more. Yes the living spaces clean and the food hygienic.

    Academics

This university is affiliated with DU and has many UG and Pg courses BA, B.com, B.com honours or programme, BMS, MA, M.com. And according to the reforms additional courses are included like vedas, robotics etc.

    Placements

I have done BA from the campus and the placement opportunities for BA or I should say arts student has to face limited placement. The campus have placement cell where they organise workshops and internship programs.

    Others

It is a distance education institute and is good for those students who are preparing for competitive exams.

    College Infrastructure

I completed my BA from this campus. It includes all the features for the students like smart classrooms, auditorium, computer labs, exam halls, and packaging facility for study materials. Classes offers daily in two shift.

    Academics

This institute ideal for students working or preparing for competitive exams. And faculty members are approachable and supportive. But there is fewer live session for each batch means there is limited interactive learning.

    Placements

Placement opportunities are limited. For arts student you may expect the minimum package of 2-3 LPA and for commerce the Average package may be 8 LPA. But there is very less chances of getting placement.

    Others

    Provide a well notes.

Experience was good but placement should be there.

    College Infrastructure

I did M.A. hindi from school of open learning, Delhi University. DU infrastructure is quite good for regular students but those who are persuing degree from school of open learning they need to adjust in infrastructure facilities like Library laboratory etc. Although school of open learning provides library for their students but students in numbers are very that a big library can not be enough sometimes.

    Academics

School of open learning M.A. hindi syllabus are up to date. Curriculum are also good. Teachers are qualified and experienced. All in all I have very good learning experience in M.A. HINDI. Teachers have depth knowledge and understanding of the syllabus.

    Placements

School of open learning don't provide placement facility for M.A. hindi students. They do not provide any internship. The lack of placement facility should be corrected in future, otherwise what's the point of studying in such a big university of we do not placed somewhere good.

Overall experience was good. But placement facility was poor

    College Infrastructure

School of open learning provided average colleges for Sunday claases. College infrastructure was average at that time. Delhi University infrastructure was good SOl building was always on renovation and updation. SOL has all necessary infrastructure available.

    Academics

School of open learning BA programme course nees to be updated at time.Though I do not know about current syllabus structure of B.A programme I hope it's updated now. B.A. programme syllabus does not makes us job-ready.

    Placements

There were no facilities for placement in school of open learning B.A. programme course. They should give students some interview guidance, or jo. Ready skills. Due to unavailability of updated course of job ready skill no company wants to hire from BA programme course.

My experience has been very bad

    College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure looks good from the outside. Classrooms are poorly maintained, fans don’t work properly, and the library lacks important books. There is no proper seating arrangement or clean drinking water. Basic facilities like Wi-Fi and clean washrooms are also missing or not functional most of the time.

    Academics

The teaching quality is average, and there is a lack of proper guidance and support from faculty. Classes are irregular at times, and practical learning is almost missing. Most of the focus is only on completing the syllabus, not on building real understanding or skills

    Placements

The placement situation in the college is quite disappointing. Very few companies visit the campus, and most students don’t get placed. Even when placements happen, they are not based on the students’ skills or performance. There is no proper guidance or training provided to help students prepare for jobs

    College Infrastructure

Overall infrastructure & Buildings are modern and labs are well maintained The campus is eco-friendly with solar power and waste management. Hostels are good with proper ventilation and study space really a good environment in the college

    Academics

Teaching faculty is soo good and supportive We follow a semester pattern. The curriculum is vast but useful. Faculty focuses on both academics and skill-building. Most subjects have project work that helps us learn by doing

    Placements

Placement cell is really very supportive and good College provides strong placement support. The faculty and placement officers guide us in every step. Many students also get internship offers which turn into full-time jobs.

    Others

Overall a a great experience in the college for BA

it was a good experience. A nice and safe .

    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is good not very top notch. All the basic facilities are there so there will be no inconvenience. Campus is nice you will feel good to roam around. Gardening is something that I found is very well maintained and also enhances the overall look of college.

    Academics

About academics I can say it is good. Although I had studied under nep so there were extra subject as well which is better I guess. You can have knowledge about extra things. You can choose that according to your interest

    Placements

I don't think I can say much about placement considering I studied through correspondence so there are not very great opportunities you can have through that. Yess you can have a degree from a recognised university and that a different thing.

    Value for Money

I will say you can go for it if you are doing something alongside with your graduation. It is a good option with minimal fees and you can study as per your own convenience. They don't charge high fees and provide good and numerous of courses.

    Campus Life

Campus is nice and well kept. You will feel good seeing the greenary around you. It took up enough space so you can do any fun activities with your friends or just roam around. It is clean and well maintained.

    College Infrastructure

The college looks good from the outside, mainly because of the building, but inside, the classroom are not good at all. The fan don't work. And the library lack important books. Basic facilities like wifi and clean washroom are also missing or not functional most of the time.

    Value for Money

The facilities are not being provided according to the amount of fees

    Campus Life

Campus life is very boring because there are no activities only assignment

    Others

I just want to say that open students should also be given equal facilities.at the very least, proper classes, activity and placement opportunities should be provided to them as well

Have a question related to DU SOL ?

    Hello,

Recently, UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. However, in case you're asking if you can get in both the Universities in regular mode then it is not possible.

Also, there are a lot of universities who are not yet accepting the dual degree policy. They may accept it from a year or so as it was released this year. So you should get in contact with the college to know more about it.

    I hope this helps,

    All the best

    Hello aspirant,
To get into SOL all you need is the minimum eligibility marks that are provided by the institution.
The SOL doesn't have any kind of entrance test. Or exams rather the admission is solely based upon the merit and sometimes the interview.
So there is no entrance rate only merit and marks that are valuable

yes , you get admission in B com  in any university or college
