Columbia College of Nursing, Bangalore, is a well-known nursing education institution. "The process to apply to Columbia College of Nursing, Bangalore is very simple and as follows:-

1. Visit the website of Columbia College of Nursing  and download the application form.

2. Download the application form and fill up the same with all the personal and academic details very precisely.

3. The documents needed are as listed below:

  • Passport size photographs
  • Marks sheet of qualifying examinations like 10th, 12th, and the previous degree as the case may be
  • Transfer certificate
  • Migration certificate, if required
  • Caste certificate, if required

4. Fully filled application forms with all supporting documents can be obtained directly by contacting the respective colleges and need to be submitted at the respective admissions office of the college.

5. Pay the application fee, which is to be decided by the college. The amount of fee and the mode of payment shall be confirmed from the college website or admissions office.

6. After applying, wait for the merit list to be published by the college. Merit list generally depends upon marks scored in the qualifying examination.

7. In case selected, they will be communicated and be allowed to join the college with full admission procedures accompanied by charges as well as with original documents submitted for verification

8. Orientation Program and commence with your scheduled courses in the college.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing: This is a four-year undergraduate program with 60 seats. Admission is strictly on the merit of the previous qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent). The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their higher secondary education.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This course has 20 seats and is open to registered nurses who want to upgrade their qualifications. Admission is based on merit in the qualifying examination, which is usually a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).

M.Sc Nursing: The college offers five specializations in M.Sc Nursing, each with 5 seats:

  1. M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing
  2. M.Sc Paediatric Nursing
  3. M.Sc Mental Health Nursing
  4. M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing
  5. M.Sc Community Health Nursing

Admission to all the M.Sc programmes is given based on the merit of the previous qualifying examination, B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. The programme is conducted for two years.
