Daulat Ram College has been ranked 26th in the Colleges category as per NIRF 2025 ranking.
The College is well equipped with all the essential infrastructure needed, from good classrooms, labs, spacious library to hostels etc. It has all. And to add on a new block is also building so expansion is gonna happen.
Academics is amazing here. The faculty is truly exceptional especially for the political science department I can say it's amazing. The pedagogy is fantabulous. And student professor bond is also great.
Placements are okayish like one has to be excellent in their field in order to secure one, rest the placement cell is actively working for its betterment. Career fairs do happen and companies do approach so good opportunity for internship.
Under construction but beautiful. Most places are clean but washrooms can be better. There is no network inside the college but it's the case with every college in the North Campus. Library is typically pretty occupied for 1-3 hours each day.
Experienced and helpful faculty, academics is taken very seriously here. College starts earliers than others (8 am) and closes around 5pm. Commerce students have access to a well furnished computer lab, and many courses under VAC, SEC is offered.
Decent placements. Good RoI. Placement cell also holds various sessions, workshops, etc related to different careers. CV vetting sessions, Annual Internship Fair, Regular Opportunities, Campus Placements are organised by the Placement cell.
I am paying around 30K per year.
Peacefu;
The infrastructure is fi ne not very good. Labs have equipment and Ac . Washrooms were not very good but they are going under construction. The wifi connection is there but it is very slow. The food in canteen is fine.
I ma studying biochemistry . The lab is good and teachers are also fine . Teaching is also fine . The curriculum is also fine but have extra papers like vac, sec that are not actually important or beneficial.
I have just completed second year so don't know that much about placements .But I have heard from seniors that the placement are average and not very good. Also there is not 100% placement. Also average placement is low.
The fees is little high than other college
The campus life is fine. There are many workshop and fests .
When I was studying there, the infrastructure was average. The classrooms were basic but neat and clean. The college building had an old school vibe. The library has good collection of books. Washrooms and common areas could have been cleaner and better maintained.
Academics are quite good. Most professors in my department (humanities stream) were helpful and well-qualified. Faculties were very friendly of my department. The quality of teaching varied across departments. Internal marks and attendance were important.
The placements were not great at that time(2016). Only few companies came, and packages were average. Most students either went for master's or tried internships on their own. You have to be self-driven.
Overall experience is good and I had enjoyed my college life very much.
Infrastructure is fine with some basic canteen and Nescafe nothing too great but works okayy. Other than that a lawn to sit in during winters and a rangshala for societies to do their stuff and practice.
Academically it's fine as well some proffesor teaches well some doesn't care. Admin is probably the worse Admin I have ever been to, they take so much time and waste students time so much. Other than that some teacher are actually great teaches well.
I have heard people getting placement but never seen one getting it yet not even my seniors maybe the placement only works for few specific courses like mainly from commerce background but few people might get one.
Fees is too high comparative to other north campus colleges definitely not worth it.
Campus life is good if we do something or our own.
The campus though not big in comparison with other DU colleges, but is quiet and full of greenery, plus all the basic facilities are available including library, cafeteria, sports ground, conference and seminar halls, amphitheatre, etc.
I'm a Political Science student. From my experience, the professor of our department are amazing, they focus on modern approach for teaching, from tutorial classes for one on one interaction to mentor-mentee program, allowing students to share doubts with hesitation.
College has an active placement cell (Vriddhi) and conducts annual career fair along with updating students related internship drives. But like it happens in other colleges, most companies prefer students from CS background or Commerce/ Economics.
The annual fee of my course is 32,100 rupees, which is high in comparison with other DU colleges. But keeping in mind the facilities we are given, active clubs and societies, regular seminar and workshops, it can be considered worth it.
Infrastructure of dault ram College is good. And a large specious seminar hall and cla canteen also there and There are multiple common rooms and lawns where students often hang out or work on society stuff.
Academically, the college DRC is strong. Most teachers are knowledgeable and take their subjects seriously. Some are very supportive and push you to do better. And the syallabus is completed on the time.
Placements are there, but you can’t rely only on the college. The placement cell does bring in companies especially for commerce and humanities students. However, you’ll need to take part in extra activities, upskill, and do internships to stand out.
Daulat Ram College, tucked in the North Campus of Delhi University. The infrastructure is okay not too modern and Classrooms are mostly functional, some with projectors and others still stuck with chalk and duster. The college has a spacious campus.
Daulat Ram College is specially for girls college and When it comes to the college holds its own. Departments like English, Psychology, and Commerce are well-known, and most professors are supportive and helpful especially if you take the initiative. Some classes might feel monotonous.
Placement-wise, it’s not as strong as top-tier colleges like SRCC or LSR, but opportunities do exist and the Average packages are around ₹3–5 LPA, but cracking them needs effort from your end too. The placement cell is active and keeps students informed.
Not so big as other colleges of North campus, u may face problems such as lack of room if any teacher wants to give extra lectures but working to expand its infrastructure as many rooms are under-construction and might be completed very soon
Academic part is surely top notch than other colleges of du , especially female faculty and even it's better than many coed hyped college such as hindu college. I am studying ba political science hons
Not have much idea about placement as my course does not give placements but I have seen the members of placement cell being active and always engaged in organising seminar and inviting different companies to come and give placements
30k around for political science hons
Nice and beautiful campus. With green and lucious trees around it. It has a big sports complex and a huge auditorium that can accommodate 500 people easily in one seating. It also has a open air amphitheatre.
The teaching staff is extremely polite and helpful. All of them are well trained and experienced. Studies are taken really strictly here. Everyone is there to help and guide you out. Every equipment is
The placement committee is student run and more than 100 students every year get placed . World class level companies like Deloitte and accenture hire students from economics commerce and maths background

Hello,
In general, percentage cutoff will be 60%-75%. for top and recognized college and universities it will be above 80 to 95%.
for current year, cutoff may not follow previous year trends as it will also depend on how students has performed in current year. There will be some changes as the normal flow of process got stopped.
as of now, colleges are closed till july 31st. You can look for updates in the official webpage of the college in which you are interested.
Hope it helps!
