Daulat Ram College has been ranked 26th in the Colleges category as per NIRF 2025 ranking.
The overall college environment is peaceful, but the lack of proper infrastructure and facilities makes it difficult for students of many departments. Medical room facility is good but there is a requirement of hiring more medical staff. Sports area is good, so is the library. Toilets are mostly clean and well maintained. Classrooms, however are constantly dirty and littering can often be seen in classrooms and canteen area. There is lack of fans in the classrooms as well as the canteen. Management is very messy and class timings and rooms often clash with one another.
Academics wise, (most of the) faculty is great, but due to lack of proper management classes often clash. in my 1 year in college, i have noticed there has been lack of proper communication flow channel from management to student and teacher to student, especially for the BA Program Department. This has left students hanging in confusion and a lot of important matters, have been micromanaged. Attendance criteria is unnecessarily strict for the kind of academic facilities given. SurabhiC356
I am yet to explore internships/placements as I am currently in my 2nd year. hence I do not have much info about the same. However from what I have heard from seniors, the placement scene is decent for certain departments.
Fees are extremely high as compared to the other colleges under the University. And for this amount of fees paid, the kind of academic and non academic facilities given are not at all worth the money. It has often led students to question if their degree is a complete waste of money. other colleges with a better ranking in academic and campus life have fees less than half of what this college charges for the same degrees.
Clubs and societies aren't very open to providing learning opportunities to less experienced students. The selection in dance/music societies often favours only those who already have a strong background in the same. Fests and dandiya nights have a good crowd and is the only time I enjoy being in college.
Overall, the college experience is pretty poor for the amount of hype they give to "north campus" colleges. 5/10 experience.
When it comes to infrastructure it doesn't stand out to be called as a DU college. It lacks basic facilities in many classrooms such as ACs, proper furniture, cleanliness. Also the building looks old and rusty. The college also lacks network connects in most of the area.
As in academics, daulatram college is good....also it is number one in whole delhi uni for the Philosophy department . The teachers are also kind and cooperative as in my department (philosophy).......
As I'm a fresher i have heard of the placements of daulatram college to be strong and high......the highest package of 2024 was of 23.5 LPA in INR and average packages are of 6 LPA in INR..............
There are some other features of Daulatram college that i would like to share- -therd is an optional course of legal literacy in collaboration with DLSA -there is and option to meet with lawyers and discuss the legal problems for free int he college
The infrastructure is all right, few rooms are equipped with Ac facilities. There is a problem of space and sometimes it gets congested but the new building is being built so hopefully that problem goes away. The hall is big and overall it is like any DU college.
The faculty depends on from which department you are, but mostly it is good. You will have a mix of teachers but overall it is all right. Most of the faculty is friendly and will help with due diligence.
I think it depends more on you individually than the college on how good placement you can get. It also varies from year to year, but they try to get you the best internships and job offers possible.
The fees for Daulat ram college is comparatively higher than any other Du college. And honestly it doesn’t justify, maybe because of the new construction that is happening.
It’s a girl college, but personally i like it the best. All the reasons delhi is infamous for, you feel safe when step into DRC, because you dont have guys staring you and you are still within campus so you can make friends outside of your college as well.
Your college life depends more on you and what friends you make. Step out of your comfort zone and do things you never pictured yourself in, will make you understand yourself better. Enjoy your college life.
The college lacks the required infrastructure which is really disheartening. The classes of timings are not well-organized . The gym in the college is only accessible to sports students and there is no football or volleyball court. Even the some of the classes are really small, unclean and there always remains a search for a good class. Also, there is a limited sitting capacity in library and lacks the computer facilities has now no more available for students. Nevertheless, the college offers many opportunities to polish our skills through multiple societies, social and cultural events. Overall, the college environment is satisfactory but the infrastructure makes need to be improved.
I graduated in Philosophy from Daulat Ram College. The faculty is really good, supportive and encouraging. The syllabus is well convered before the exams and the classes are taken on regular basis. Rarely any cancellation is done. The teachers also discuss the career opportunities in the field and encourage us to work on our abilities. Overall, the environment for academics(at is encouraging least for Philosophy) is encouraging. But the only point of dislike is the NEP curriculum which overburdens the students with overwhelming internals and syllabus too is really scattered and does not allow us to focus on the major damain.
Does not have much of an idea about it. Yeah, but have an average placement. Although has an engaging society. The society brings in a good number of companies for the placement and the package offered are also satisfactory.
Yup.
Personally, they need to improve the infrastructure a lot as compare to other North campus colleges their fee is much higher and the infrastructure is not that great, only some classrooms have Ac and it is very difficult to attend classes during summers.
Some professors are really great and they know what students actually need, but not all. So, one has to manage studies on their own if your professors does not help you out. If your professor is not able .
Honestly, placement cell focuses over the bcom hons and commerce related courses more, other courses don't really get that much perks. But one should look on the opportunity it may provide in accordance with what you are focusing over.
I don't think so as one can choose other options, as placement is not that much for other courses, one can focuse over other things.
As it is a part of Delhi University it does have that touch of fest and events, one who loves to be a part of fest and all other activities can consider.
I will say u should consider what do you actually want, it's a girls college so professors have that tendency to control the students but that also depends on the professor, some are really cool others are not, also you should consider placement too in accordance with your course.
The infrastructure is quite average in comparison to other colleges of North campus. ACs are available in few classes only. Though the construction of the new building is still going on but the existing infrastructure needs renovation.
Academic wise Daulat Ram College is one of the best. The faculty is extremely qualified and experienced. Some of the professors are not just teachers but truly a mentor who will help you out in every way possible.
The placement record of the college is pretty good. Though the highest package is not as much as when compared to top colleges like srcc, hansraj, lsr, etc., but still it's fine. The placement cell of the college is quite active.
Campus Life is quite fun, but only if you are someone who would love to be in all girls college. Because the vibe of a co-ed college is very different from all girls. Though it's not too bad if you have good friends (who doesn't bitch behind your back)
It's good . We have 3 auditoriums . And a very big sports ground. Also the library is so good and pretty. There are new classrooms and a block is being made now.Daulat Ram College provides a holistic campus environment with robust infrastructure, including a well-stocked library, technologically advanced science and computer laboratories, and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus with smart classrooms. Sports facilities feature an electronic shooting range, badminton court, and basketball court, complemented by a gymnasium and outdoor sports field. The college also offers cultural and support facilities such as an open-air amphitheater, an auditorium, a health center, and a banking facility. An on-campus hostel with green spaces and a cafeteria ensures student well-being and convenience.
We have really humble teachers.Daulat Ram College offers a holistic, women-centric education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Science, Commerce, and Humanities, emphasizing academic rigor alongside personal development. Its academic framework includes regular degree programs, supported by skill-enhancing add-on foreign language courses, workshops, and field trips. The college boasts strong infrastructure, including well-equipped labs and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, while fostering a comprehensive learning environment through initiatives like the National Social Service (NSS) and various student societies.
i have rarely heard to students getting so good placements. like oDaulat Ram College (DRC), part of Delhi University, offers placement opportunities through its Placement Cell, Vriddhi, which hosts events like the annual "Incrementum" career and internship fair. For 2024, the highest package offered was INR 23.05 LPA, with the average package at INR 6.47 LPA. Notable recruiters include Deloitte, KPMG, and ICICI Bank, with roles in finance, marketing, and auditing. The cell also provides career development resources, including webinars, CV building sessions, and alumni talks, especially for first-year students.
it's high fee college compared to whole north campus
It's very very good ✨????Safe for girls
The infrastructure is pretty good but sometimes, there is a shortage of classrooms and need a kittle bit of maintenance. Otherwise, my experience is good, the canteen food is much better and hygienic now.
I am pursuing BA (Hons) Philosophy and I'm a second year student, my minor is Psychology and the departments are good and the quality of teaching is excellent. Need a bit more engagement. The rest is good.
I don't really know about placements. But the Placement cell Vriddhi, of our college is good. Their event where many brands and companies came to provide placements. I attended the event and found it interesting and good for students.
The infrastructure at DRC is well-equipped with spacious classrooms, a rich library, computer labs, and dedicated spaces for cultural activities but the washroom needs to improve .Overall ,the infrastructure is good
Academics at DRC are known for a strong curriculum, experienced faculty, and supportive learning environment. The college offers a balance of theoretical depth and practical exposure, encouraging students to excel in both classroom and beyond.
Placements at DRC are decent, with active support from the placement cell and opportunities across various sectors. While top packages may be limited compared to bigger DU colleges, many students secure good internships and entry-level jobs, making it a solid stepping stone.
The fees are comparatively higher than other colleges in delhi University .But the learning, the campus life is worth the fee .
Campus life at DRC is vibrant and full of energy—festivals, societies, and cultural events keep the spirit alive.
Infrastructure is nothing special. Some classes are very small where a whole.class cannot even fit in. Many Classes dont have ACs. You can smell and taste great amount of chlorine from drinking water. Washrooms look very untidy even if they are clean. It requires renovation. Premises is mostly clean and no trash litters anywhere.
After coming into college, one have to make sure to study themselves. Faculties dont put too much effort into teaching you . Many times classes get cancelled unnecessarily. SEC, VAC , EVS , AEC classes are huge blunder and a myth which is not fault of college but of university as a whole. Some teachers are really very good and love their work so i'd say its your luck if you get a decent faculty or a bad one. I am studying bcom.hons and syllabus looks kinda updated. They have practical classes and teach about various things. But lastly, its not about the syllabus. You can buy books and everything but it all depends on you and the teacher you get that will change your experience.
Being a person who is more into entrepreneurship. I dont see much encouragement for this field. They try to he supportive but lack in proper helpful method. Talking about placements, its again kind of a blunder. You need to obviously have a good CGPA. Along with which u need to have internship work experience and a confident personality. College can only give you an opportunity for placement or job but its you who will have to work hard to crack the code. I don't have much idea about package offered since its not my thing.
Other DU college fees is very less compared to DRC. Most colleges fees is 14-19k per year for bcom.hons. But in drc its 34-36k . And still they don't have a commerce dept. Building and tell that its under construction. Value for money is too bad . I would not have complained if the fees was less for the same facilities they provide.
Atmosphere of college is very very safe. All the girls around are supportive. There are many societies to work into. Fest of the college is also not too good not too bad. Departmental fests are also good. College principal is the worst. They dont even allow an official trip for the college even if its just girls.

Hello,
In general, percentage cutoff will be 60%-75%. for top and recognized college and universities it will be above 80 to 95%.
for current year, cutoff may not follow previous year trends as it will also depend on how students has performed in current year. There will be some changes as the normal flow of process got stopped.
as of now, colleges are closed till july 31st. You can look for updates in the official webpage of the college in which you are interested.
Hope it helps!
