yes , our college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities and equipment but the qualities of the infrastructure is average and they need to be replaced by new for the betterment of studenslts in the class
I'm currently studying bcom programme i opted this course to gain some skills and get a degree of graduation for my future . yes the curriculum is updated timely and includes all the recent development in the field .
as I'm new to this college i exactly don't know about the placemats but as much as I've heard our college provide placement with an average package which i good for students some student have got very great packages
my course costs around 10K per semester which, I believe, is very cost efficient when compared to most of the private colleges out there. Also, the values they are providing for that amount of money is way more precious than the money itself
The campus is relatively smaller than the other colleges but has almost everything a good college needs. There is a nice and spacious, also there's a gym room and the college ground is decent in size. you can do a lot of things here & there
Aside from the campus the college stands out on every aspect. I've had a great experience till now and hope to have the same in future.
A little bit elegant , but somewhere our college lacks in infrastructure a little bit . As the fans are not soo good they’re not properly working in many classes. Although our college has good library and sports ground
I’m currently perssuing bcom programme. Because it will help me gain knowledge and skills which will help me in future to grow ! Yes , the curriculum in our college is updated time to time and has all the recent developments
Placements are genuinely good . As I’m a fresher in this college I don’t know exact about the placements but as much as I know they are probably just awesome and like average kind of for students We can say a decent package is offered
I pay around 10000 cost per year for my course . Yes I will I get the value of my money as they’re are always teaching us properly and our college is good in academics . And college environment gives me a lot of new experiences
The college campus of our college is kind of average but the campus is very small . Students can engage in many activities such as sports on the grounds chill with friends at the canteen . The teachers staaf and students are very supportive and friendly
Our college has good staff and seniors. It is safe for students the guards and workers are also very friendly. Seniors are very cooperative and fun loving Also I’ve made good friends in the college with whom I can chill and enjoy too
Our college Delhi college of arts and commerce has only basic infrastructure like table chairs , blackboard but it doesn't have fans that work properly..but all over it is mangable , thats all I would like to say
Yes, in the field of academics .I personally think that our college is doing pretty well in it as it covers the latest curriculum given by the government . I can't really say for sure about job ready as I have just started the college
Quality of placement is really average even though it's in one of the top colleges is whole of Delhi University. Average salary provided by the college is around 4-5 lacks per anum ..and the highest salary is around 9 lpa
Value for money is peak not only in our college but all over delhi University as we get all these facilities just in 10 thousand per annum.Yes I think I am getting worth of my money as our whole course for 3 years is just 32 k
Can't really praise about it even if I want to as our whole campus is very small also there are a lot of monkeys in our campus ..but students and staff are really good in our college ..also the location is safe
In the end I would just like to say that all over our college is just above average because the people here are nice both the classmates, seniors and staff also the monkeys are really really cooperative
Yes our college has all the necessary infrastructure but their quality is not so good , they need to be replaced by new one the tables are good in the class room but the fans and board needs to be changed . We have a average sports ground which also require a good maintenance
I'm studying b.com programme. I choose b.com programme to gain some skills and knowledge for my future . The quality of teaching in my college is comparatively goood . Yes , whatever i study makes me job ready .
As much as I've heard about the placements at my college isn't that much . Very less students get placements and that too with a very less package, but ya some students also get good placements with good package
Yes , i think my college is value for mone . It cost my around 10000 for my course per year . And yes i feel getting my money worth back as they give us a proper knowledge. A proper study schedule is followed
The campus life till now is good . Some teachers are really awesome whereas some are kind of rude . We have the best seniors i can say as the way they support us and treat us is like awesome somewhere and also the students can enjoy places like ground , library, canteen etc...
My experience in the college is somewhere good as I've joined societies to gain more skills . Also I've made good friends not too much but some. And I've had good bonding with my seniors till now and hope till the end it stay the same . Touchwood ?
It was small college but overall infra was good and since we had small campus we were able to contract with many people and engage with many people apart from that we had all sports facilities also so overall it was nice infrastructure
We have well established and experience faculty in all the departments but our college was known gor its history honers course and had good ranking in all DU college among 75 colleges and apart from that eco honers faculty were also good
We have decent placement from college and avg salary was that time around 7 lakh pa and that is decent enough as compared to other DU colleges because not many DU colleges had more than 5 lakh plus annual packages for their students
The fees was very low around 7k per semester and the quality amount of faculty at that price was really worth it
I loved my campus life and still miss those days because as I mentioned earlier campus was small so we were able interact with everyone and that build build strong relationships with most of the students
Overall college was good and still good for UG so I’ll recommend this to every student who planing to take UG from this college
College infrastructure is not that great as compared to other colleges. I have heard our college was supposed to be a school primarily but later it was set up as a college. So infrastructure is not that satisfactory.
The professors are great. They try their best from their part but it also depends on the students performance whether they do well or not. I am doing bcom Programme and commerce department is great in college.
I have No much idea regarding placements but there are societies in college which help students to get placement. I didn't tried for any placements so I don't think I am suitable to answer this question
Since I have a bcom Programme course, the academic fees is almost 8k something per year which is worthwhile according to me as compared to other colleges. Since it's a government college, it's less costly
Campus Life is normal. Before getting admission, campus Life in our college was great but maybe overhyped because to be honest I have seen campus Life is not in that postive environment like how we expect to be
Infrastructure is not that much good. No playground is there. Not even any sports equipments are available. Classroom is good but projector is not available in every class. But overall medium infrastructure.
Teachers are qualified and professionals. They are very cooperative. Librarian and staffs are good. Admin departments staff are very polite. Every student who is interested in study ,then they should definitely come.
Placement cell is outstanding. I got Placement in EY gds. But overall package is around 4 to 5 lakhs. Placement cell members are very very active and cooperative. There is minimal fees of 300 to registered.
Infrastructure is not upto the mark . College building are not maintained. . Sports facilities are not that good. There is just one ground for every game . Sports teachers are not that active . So it's not value for money
Teachers and academic facilities are quite good. Faculty of commerce department are well versed and equipped for there respective subject and are always available for you. They are also available for career guidance.
Placements are above average and specially for b.com and b.com(hons.). Almost everyone have a chance to get placed if you are well versed with your subjects. Companies like KPMG, EY are the mass recruiter.
Every single du college is always value for money
Campus Life is exciting just coz of the society's and events
Overall one can consider dcac if infrastructure is not your major concern
College infrastructure is small but is considered good. It has everything which is required. The college has mainly two buildings. Canteen is excellent and food is also good. Canteen is well maintained and built. There is basketball court in the ground. Library is well built and have AC hall. Library and administrative block is attached to the new building. Auditorium has less capacity but is AC occupied and built well.
Professors and faculties are good in their subject matter. They have good command and knowledge of their field. Delhi College of Arts and Commerce is considered as one of the best colleges in South Campus and all over Deli University.
Placements are good in the college. Many companies including big fours like KPMG, EY and PwC visit the campus for placement opportunities for the students. Students of commerce department doing B.Com. and B.Com. (Hons.) Get good placement opportunities in the college.
Delhi College of Arts and Commerce offer different courses in very less fees. I have done my B.Com. from this college in just approximately ₹8,500 which is very less from different colleges of Delhi University and other colleges in Delhi. One can quality education and a degree from a highly reputed college under ₹25,000.
Crowd is amazing here. Campus life is very good. There are several happening places in the college where one can enjoy and have fun with their friends. There are different societies in the college which regularly organise events and annual fests in which one can enjoy a lot.
Infrastructure is good and has all basic facilities. Library is quite good and canteen as well. Ground is well developed. Multipurpose Hall is small. All the classrooms are well maintained. Campus is clean.
Pursuing B.Com from DCAC and the faculty is quite good. Faculty members ensure the growth of every students. Timely assignments are given to check the understanding of the students. Timely guidance is given.
Placement cell works very well to ensure maximum number of students get placed in good companies. Time to time placement drives are conducted. Regular seminars and webinars are also organized by the cell.
Spending money on fees is totally worth it
You get a lot of exposure. Crowd is pretty good and you'll learn a lot.
Hey Aspirant ,Delhi College of Arts and Commerce is a better option. Review says that dcac has better faculty than dac.DCAC ranks amongst the top 10 commerce colleges of DU and it's coed. But it is an off campus college and may not be able to provide you with all the exposure of various events in different colleges because travelling is a big hassel in Delhi .Hope this answers you well. All the best
Hi there Simran!
The colleges which you have mentioned are all good options for Arts stream.
CVS- This college is best known for vocational studies, although it offers fifteen courses and is one of the best colleges of DU after the colleges of North Campus.
Gargi- This college ranked 9th in Arts by IndiaToday 2020 and is accredited with grade A. This college is one of the best colleges for Arts Stream, with good placement opportunities, and very affordable fee structures.
SBSC- The college has specialisation in all the streams and has comparatively higher fee structure and high cut offs.
ARSD college- For arts stream, this college is ranked 16th by IndiaToday 2020 and 14th by Outlook. The college has good placements and internship opportunities too. The fee structure is very high as compared to other colleges of DU.
DCAC- this college ranks 31 in Arts Stream, has comparatively high fee structure, and has renowned placement opportunities.
So considering everything, the first priority should be Gargi, followed by Arsd, sbsc, dcac and cvs.
Hope this clears your confusion.
All the best!
Hey there
Among these colleges Gargi college is worth for taking admission which is also a constituent college of Delhi University. The college has got very good rankings from India today, Outlook, The Week and National Institute of ranking framework. These rankings are provided for providing quality education in Arts Science and Commerce subjects. The fees is also affordable for Gargi college courses.
