The Department of Instrumentation admission to the various graduate programmes offered by the Department of Instrumentation at CUSAT, Ernakulam, is not biased or commercialised for money, and admissions to all these programmes are merit-based. B.Tech Instrumentation Technology is a four-year undergraduate programme with an admission capacity of 28 seats. Department of Instrumentation admission is based on the candidate's performance at the relevant entrance examination. Eligibility generally includes a qualification of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
18 seats are available for M.Tech Instrumentation Technology two-year postgraduate programme. Mostly, Department of Instrumentation admission is granted on a GATE score basis. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology in a related discipline. Selection may also have a bearing on academic performance and on university-prescribed criteria.
M.Sc Instrumentation is a two-year postgraduate programme that allows for admission into 15 seats. Entrance admission will be based more on the candidate's performance in the undergraduate programme with a possible entrance test. The eligibility requirement is that you would normally require a bachelor's degree in a specified discipline of science.
