Dr Allu Ramalingaiah Government Homeopathic Medical College, Rajahmundry Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

The Allu Ramalingaiah Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Rajahmundry, is undoubtedly the best institution for homeopathic education in Andhra Pradesh. The college recognised by the Central Council of Homeopathy sets the admission process for all its programs, which offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in homeopathy. While there are completely four courses on offer by the college including one undergraduate program (BHMS) and three postgraduate programs (MD Homeopathy), admissions in these courses are governed by different criteria and entrance tests.  All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) is the main qualifying entrance examination accepted for postgraduate admissions in the college. This is a national-level qualifying exam to enroll the students into the MD Homeopathy program at the college.

Application Process

The application process for Dr. Allu Ramalingaiah Government Homeopathic Medical College is different for different programs:

For BHMS Program:

1. Candidates likely need to apply through a state-level counseling process after qualifying in the relevant entrance examination.

For MD Homeopathy Programs:

Degree wise Admission Process

BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery): The BHMS course at Dr. Allu Ramalingaiah Government Homeopathic Medical College is provided to 63 students. Although specific details of admission to the BHMS course are not given, the course is probably selected based on a state-level entrance examination or merit on the 10+2 results in science subjects.

MD Homeopathy Organon of Medicine: This postgraduate course has 8 seats available for admission. Admission to the course is based on performance by the candidate in AIAPGET exams. BHMS graduates are appropriate candidates for applying to this course.

MD Homeopathy Materia Medica: The intake is 6 seats for this postgraduate program, and admission is also based on the AIAPGET exam result. Graduates of BHMS can apply for this specialization in homeopathy. 

MD Homeopathy Repertory: It has also 6 seats for admission. Similar to the other MD courses, admission is through AIAPGET exams. Candidates must have BHMS to apply for this course.
