Hi,

In josaa counselling, your CRL rank is considered if you are from general category.

And your category rank will be considered if you belong to any category like sc/obc/st etc and have submitted a valid certificate regarding the same during registration.

I hope that was helpful.

Hello Sanjay,

At your Marks of 310 out of 720, chances to get any MBBS Seat in Government Medical Colleges across India are less . It would be better if start looking for these options :-

  1. Take a year Drop and start preparing for NEET 2023.
  2. Go to Private Medical Colleges.
  3. Abroad Medical Colleges of other countries like China, Nepal, Canada, Australia, etc.

The above answer is made in favour of General/Open Category. Since you have not mentioned your Category in the question, you may get MBBS Seat in any Government Medical Colleges if you belong to OBC/SC/ST.

Coming to point of Domicile, you have can be Domicile of any 1 State across India. For that you have to make Domicile Certificate from Government Office. To make Domicile Certificate, you have to give your both 10th and 12th from the same state and must be residing in the same place for more than 8 - 10 years. So, you may either belong to Maharashtra or Jammu and Kashmir and not both.

Order of preference for Private MBBS Medical Colleges are :-

  1. DR. DY PATIL Medical College - Maharashtra
  2. MGIMS - Maharashtra
  3. MIMER - Maharashtra
  4. KJ SOMAIYA - Maharashtra
  5. KMC - Karnataka
  6. JSS Medical College and Hospital - Karnataka
  7. Ramaiah Medical College - Karnataka

hello aspirant,

Sastra University does not have the Cutoff for all of its branch. The admission to B.tech courses in Sastra University is done on the basis of the Marks obtained in JEE mains and in class 12th board exams, giving high preference or weightage to class 12th exam marks.

The admission in based on 2 criteria and the weighatge is given as follows :

75% marks in the class 12 and 25% marks in your JEE mains exam. So, according to your All India Rank, you might get admission in Sastra univeristy but in branches other CSE, like ECE, IT, etc.

Further, to know more about the Sastra university admissions, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it in detail : https://dqxeclau.top/university/shanmugha-arts-science-technology-research-and-academy-thanjavur

I hope that this will help.

Hello,

Now, According to last year data for NEET 2022, an aspirant scoring 450 Marks had AIR around 1,32,800.

------ With your expected marks it would be very difficult for you to get Government Colleges for BAMS. For a GENERAL CATEGORY CANDIDATE safe score for seat in Government Medical College is above 580-590.

------ Also, to predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every year during Counseling depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2022 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2022

Hello Aspirant,

It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances for any particular campus or branch because the cut-offs keep on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-

*** number of candidates appeared in KCET 2022

*** difficulty level of the paper

*** top score for KCET 2022

*** total number of seats available for admission and so on

However on the basis of previous year's cut-off you have good chances in following colleges for CSE branch :-

Ghousia Engineering College Ramanagara

S J C Institute of Technology Chickballapur

Dr.T.Thimmaiah Institute of Technology BANGARAPET -TQ kolar District

And some more....

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-cutoff

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

You can also use KCET College Predictor for more accurate predictions :-

Good Luck!!

If you have scored above 93 percentile, you may have chance.
SASTRA University is well-known for its computing branches, i.e. CSE, IT, ICT. These branches offer great salary packages and placement opportunities. In the 2021 placement drive, the highest CTC offered was 58 LPA. If you are passionate about coding and programming then it is a great place for you. There are 300 seats available for computer science engineering at sastra university.

for getting CSE at SASTRA one has to score above 95% in 12th and above 93 percentile in JEE Main. However you can get other engineering branches there. since You Haven mentioned your category I am assuming that you are a general. In general category one have to score 50 percentile l for qualifying the JEE mains examination.

You can apply for any stream. To get CSE in Sastra University your rank must be under 500 in stream 1 or 2 . Though the cut-off rank varies every year , still you should have a rank under 500 to definitely get CSE in Sastra University.

Programmes at SASTRA for which 25% weightage will be given along with the +2 marks for which the weightage given is 75%. This is for 70% of the total seats. They need to enter their JEE (Main) scores, whatever the scores are.
Since you haven't mentioned your rank, I am not sure about the admission.
