The college infrastructure is pretty good form outside to be honest but from inside it can be better. The auditorium needs more systematic Arrangement. The classrooms need good boards good bench’s and clean washrooms
Academics is good i learned so much form my three years journey . All thanks to some teachers not all but a few who put so much efforts for students. The knowledge i got will be with forever . It also help me to shape myself for the future version of myself
Well about placements i don’t have much idea i don’t think so we have any , but teachers do share forms for internship . I didn’t get any i havr seen others colleges giving them but i this one didn’t had any
That’s a big question for a Economics student but i did learn to control my expenses at the starting of my college life i used to spend so much without thinking but by the end i learned things like saving
Umm as i said earlier the college’s infrastructure isn’t commendable it didn’t have a canteen so we didn’t stay much inside only to attend lectures and then we were free birds.
The best thing i got form these past few years are the bonds i made some friendship that will last forever it’s odd to say but the love if my life ik it’s funny keeping all the study aside i became for confident got a sense of maturity , ,also i learned the things I shouldn’t do and won’t do in my life seeing some people i believe i have been learning form the first day till the last examination day all those lessons will be with me forever.
Ys, My overall experience in my college was good but when it comes to infrastructure facilities nd all it was not dat much great yeah..because first of all there was no canteen in the college nd secondly there was no proper color in the classroom even the fans did not work properly also The system of college was very very slow.. Yss There was playground, Hostel, Wi-fi, Library, Laboratory nd yess they were well maintained nd used well even the washrooms were clean and maintained properly
1.I did bachelor of ARTS in sociology..In Sociology because I love to communicate wid people, Build Realtionships, Curiosity to know about different/ different opinions (Thoughts), love to explore places/ cultures/ Languages etc Secondly I want to beacome a Cabin Crew (Air Hostess) So yes Sociology is a mixture of all 2.If we just have a degree of Sociology so No it’s really hard to find a job just with the degree there is soo much hardwork nd struggle to do for the Job so yeah study don’t makes you ready for job, there is much more to doo nd lot of things rather then just having a degree
There is no placements in our college..The college does not provide any of the placements So we have to our own struggles nd hardwork for any of the course or job So all above questions are not answerable
5000 Yess, there was all necessary things available though the system were slow but yeah I guess it was worth
There was no canteen but there was a huge ground to play nd do such activities such as playing football, Badminton, Organised events etc Teachers nd staff was not at all supportive Location was Coloba nd yess it can handle all emergencies..
Yes … the collage possesses the required infrastructure facilities and equipment they have the best best best infrastructure….. the demand for specific skill or role in the instructions and placement out come
Academic success personal growth career’s aspirations and passion as well as quality of good teachers and effective the student with strong academic record or skill and revelent experience are generally more attractive
The placement and the quality at collage varies significant some institutions have strong placement and high percentage of student getting place in reputable company While other may have lower placement
Around 2k to 50k
Our collage has a best campus in Mumbai
My honest experience at the college was average. First two years were quite active with beautiful memories, got to share them with some of the genuine people. Last year of college wasn't a lot happening for me, was barely going to lectures. Thought my college has necessary facilities and all of the necessary laboratories too. Students do enjoy all of the activities they get to experience in the college. The space is beautiful as it was built in the British time, it's quite amazing.
I studied bachelor of arts in psychology. The human mind always amazed me, the way how a persons mind works which eventually affects the human and their body is impressive to understand. The curriculum i studied yes, it was updated and included all of the developments which were necessary.
The placements have not been yet received by many students after their graduation. Most of the students have been working part time and attending lectures whenever possible. The more I know the highest salary students were offered are from the science field such as the IT, CS students.
My course didn't cost much or it wasn't a waste of money. Overall it was good as it a government college.
The campus life is surprisingly beautiful. All the activities including sports, annual functions from getting teacher's support is all to remember for. The teachers are amazingly simple and supportive. I had the best experience with those professors but unfortunately except my department professors I had a bond with every other different departments professor's.
I had a great experience, honestly because of the beautiful and all of the sweet people who I am friends with still! I enjoyed a lot.
Elphinstone college has vintage infrastructure. Classroom and labs are decent but need to upgrade. Library are well - stocked and great to study. Overall great infra but need to upgrade some classes and labs.
Academics at elphinstone college is solid with well experienced and helpful faculty but they are more focused on theory study. More practical knowledge for the students will Give student good exposure for the industry.
Placement opportunities in elphinstone college is limited. Especially for b.com students, only few companies visit college. so students have to pursue higher education to get a decent job or seek off campus jobs.
The infrastructure of the college is good and has all facilities like gymkhana, canteen, library, and well equipped laboratory of every department. It provides a home like hostel facilities for both girls and boys.
I'm currently studying Microbiology and want to persue further in this field. The college is coming under Dr. Homi Bhabha State University which provides us more credits as compared to Mumbai University.
The college has an independent placement cell which provides great career opportunity for young minds. Career guidance programmes and workshops are held at regular intervals by various agencies like TCS WIPRO etc.
The college staff is well experienced, kind and helpful. The college hosts various intercollege festivals like Maharastra Utsav, Zeal , Techstar etc. for which students from various colleges actively participate.
The college is one of the oldest college in Mumbai coming under Dr. Homi Bhabha State University. It provides programmes under choice based credit system where we are given freedom to select any course as per our preference and are provided with more credits as compared to Mumbai University. It provides a great atmosphere to study as well as to enjoy our college life.
