Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed two year Intermediate Examination conducted by Board of Intermediate Education or its equivalent with not less than 45% of marks in the prescribed group subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) are eligible for admission.

Admission Details

The sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering, 70% of the seats is called Category – A seats or Convener seats. The remaining 30% seats are called Category – B seats or Management Quota Seats. Admissions for Category – A seats are conducted by the Convener, EAMCET Admissions through web counselling based on the EAMCET rank of the candidates and the rules of reservation for admission into professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh. B- Category seats are filled by the Management of the college following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Hyderabad.

For Diploma Holders- Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering 20% seats as supernumerary seats are allotted to Diploma Holders for admission into II Year B.Tech directly. Admissions into II Year B.Tech through lateral entry for Diploma Holders are conducted by The Convener, ECET(FDH) Admissions through web counselling based on the rank obtained by the candidates in ECET(FDH) and the rules of reservations.

College Infrastructure

G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College offers spacious classrooms equipped with digital boards and good ventilation, coupled with modern laboratories for every department including civil, which support hands-on learning and technical projects. The campus includes a large, well-stocked library with digital resources and WiFi connectivity, as well as dedicated sports facilities, a gym, and separate hostels for boys and girls. Living spaces and hostels are generally clean, and hygienic food is provided in the canteen and mess; however, some of the older blocks, including those for civil, show signs of aging though maintenance is steady. Overall, the infrastructure meets student needs and is conducive to both academic and practical skill development, making it suitable for civil engineering students aiming for professional readiness

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of this college is just perfect for the students because it has so many labs for various departments. There is a huge library of two floors and the labs are also well equipped with many tools and systems. WiFi is also provided.
