As a B category student in the ECE branch at G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College, I pay a yearly fee of around ₹1 lakh, which is quite different from the higher fees in branches like CSE and CSM. For me, this feels reasonable because the college gives solid infrastructure, good placements, and supportive faculty, making it worth the amount I pay. The labs are well-equipped and the training for placements is strong, so I do feel that I’m getting value for money in ECE—especially since the fee here is lower than some of the computer branches, but the academic support and campus facilities are very good

Honestly, I feel G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College offers pretty good value for money. The tuition for AP EAMCET Category-A seats is only ₹84,000 per year—which is quite affordable compared to many private colleges . On top of that, if you crack into the college with a rank under 2000, you can get a full fee waiver for all four years—that’s a huge financial relief .

In general, the college has all the essential facilities in place—academic, sports, and residential. Most of them are maintained well, creating a balanced environment for learning and student activities.
I chose to pursue a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering because of my deep interest in electronics and the bright future I see in the semiconductor industry. Compared to the crowded software field, I believe this area offers greater opportunities. The ECE department has highly qualified faculty members, many of whom hold PhDs and bring great knowledge and experience from different domains. The curriculum we follow is well-structured and up to date, as per the R23 regulations of JNTU Ananthapuram. It covers both theory and practical labs, ensuring students learn concepts thoroughly while also developing hands-on skills. Across the four years of study, we gain a complete understanding of electronics and communication, which helps in building both technical knowledge and practical ability. By the end of the program, we are well-prepared to step into careers in electronics, semiconductors, and related industries with confidence. Overall, the course is designed to make students industry-ready and gives us the right academic support to grow professionally.
Placements in our college are quite strong, with many well-known companies visiting the campus every year. Recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Cognizant regularly hire students, while for core branches, companies such as Zelis, LTI Mindtree, Jai Raj Steels, and Ultratech also take part in recruitment drives. To support students in placements, the college runs a training program called ITCA, which focuses on aptitude skills and programming languages. This helps us gain confidence and be well-prepared for interviews. The highest package offered so far has been 35 LPA, while the average package usually lies between 4–6 LPA. The overall placement ratio remains encouraging, giving students fair chances to secure good offers. With the guidance of faculty and continuous training sessions, the entire placement process becomes smooth and effective for most students.
I am a government sponsored student and I well that it is worth studying for the cost of the education. It is affordable.
The campus life good and they are conducting many events in regular intervals of periods. They not only promote our education but extra curricular activities.
The college infrastructure is at par as there are scenic places and also more area to roam around, but one thing that bothers is, as college is located at the outskirts of city the monkeys are a trouble here. Classrooms are maintained well and labs are also good as per my view. The hostel is also a good experience and so far the food is said to be average.
The faculty are mostly P.hD doctorates in the field of their interests, they do teach and use examples of their experiences that provides us many valuable insights. The faculty also helps us to provide the assistance to crack the pre placement exam for any company.
The placement count presently is average and core companies that come to college for the drives are very less. Most of the higher packages are offered in IT and related branches and the average CTC offered is 4.5. The college supports and pushes students to get placed in early phase.
I am a student with fee reimbursement, the course fee is 80,000 per year, but if I were to join the college through management seat I wouldn't do that as there are much more options and better colleges. Also, if I had to consider as a local of this place this college is far better than other colleges in this area(Kurnool).
The campus life is good with good people around you. The extra curricular activities and co-curricular activities that are conducted to get a good exposure to what is happening inside the college. The students and staff all are participating and also encourage others to participate in such activities.
The college is good when considered for the local people, but there's plenty of fish in the sea. The college and academics are good. The placement count maybe average but it's increasing every year so it's reliable and exposure to placements is guided by the faculties so the students would know how things are done in a corporate work place.
G Pulla Reddy Engineering College has good infrastructure, well-equipped labs, experienced faculty, a supportive environment, and provides quality education with good placement opportunities. We have main administrative block along with each department having seperate 2-3 Blocks for classes, Laboratories and staff rooms. Also we have a GPREC memorial as a main highlight spot in our college which is in the remember of our College founder G PULLA REDDY and his wife G.NARAYANAMMA.
I am pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The teaching quality is good with supportive faculty. some faculty are less interactive and strict but most of the faculty are friendly and interactive. The curriculum is well-structured and updated with current trends of syllabus from JNTU ananthapur.
The placement quality is good with many reputed companies visiting. Around 70–80% of eligible students get placed, with decent packages and opportunities for both core and IT sectors. We got some big companies like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys for the placements with highest package of 35 Lakhs and Average range of Packages of 3-4 LPA. But present for our seniors the companies started visiting the campus and recruiting the students.
I gott a rank in EAMCET.so my college fee according to councilling is 77,000/- .but that fee is paid by the government. And the our college provides the hostel facility with the low cost itself 60,000/- per year with is paid me itself .and their is record books fee with is around 300/- per semester. Semester fee 1250/- .
Campus life for me is okay. I have some good friends, and the teachers are mixed—some are friendly, some are really good, and some are strict and hard to talk to. During class hours, we can’t just walk around freely because some teachers watch near the blocks. We have some nice hangout spots like the memorial, ground, amphitheatre, food court, and cafeteria. Overall, the college environment is fine, and I’m happy I chose this college.
Nothing to say , just my honest review about my college is given above.
Hello Aspirant,
Since you got a rank of 29,565 in AP EAMCET, and belongs to BC-B girl category, you could be lucky in the case of G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College in ECE, CSE (AI & ML) or EEE branches, based on seat availability and cutoff trends. But it could be a bit crowded for core branches like CSE. Just keep an eye on the second or third rounds of counselling as fairly better opportunities will be present in these rounds.
Hello aspirant,
All I can say is that the college is good and has all the essential facilities. The course is excellent, and the teachers are always highly knowledgeable. Depending on your zeal, you can work at any level in any field.
