College infrastructure was really good with all facilities like library, park, canteen, study rooms, labs, digital classrooms etc. All classes, labs, libraries and sports centres were affiliated with WiFi, digital smart boards and all kinds of lab equipments. Everything was cleaned day in and day out.
I was studying electronics and communication engineering because of my interest in communication area and the quality of teaching was really good. The curriculum is updated as data science and Ai kinds of subjects are now taught for future placements.
Quality of placements was decent in our college. 90% of students were placed in good companies and some start-ups. The highest salary package was 9 lakhs per annum. The average salary offered was 6 lakhs per annum. The placement process was really smooth and pleasant for me.
The total cost was 7.5 lakhs for 4 years in my college and it included food and all infrastructure access. The money was worth as I got a placement of 3.5 lakhs per annum. And I got the job in my desired field.
The college campus was fully green and it was always used to do all kinds of events may it be cultural or technical. All the infrastructure was well used. The students, teachers and support staff were really good and always interactive. The location of the college was outside city but bus service was available.
The infrastructure is quite good, but it is small compared to other colleges. Wi-Fi and labs are available. The speed of Wi-Fi is average most of the time. All kinds of sports facilities are available, and all kinds of sports equipments are provided by the college
The curriculum was well-structured, providing a comprehensive understanding of my field. Faculty were passionate may available for help. The intensity of the assignments could be stressful, but it was worth the effort for the depth of learning.
A solid placement drive with a variety of industries represented. The preparation workshops were helpful, and many peers secured roles with reputable organizations. Overall, a satisfying experience on placements
Yes college is value for money

Hello,
It is mostly not possible that you will get a seat in Civil Engineering at GEC Raipur or Bilaspur with a CGPET score of 80 and a rank of 1038 , especially in the OBC category.
While your score is above the passing marks (around 10% of the total) the competition for these popular branches in these specific colleges is high .
Consider exploring other colleges or branches within the CG PET system that might be a better fit for your score and rank . You should also investigate other options, such as participating in further counseling rounds and exploring alternative branches within GEC Raipur and Bilaspur .
Thank you!!
securing admission to Government Engineering College (GEC) Raipur with a CG PET score of 65 may be challenging, especially for high-demand branches like Computer Science and Engineering.
Stay Updated : Regularly check the official CG PET counseling portal for updates on seat availability and cutoff trends.
Hello Aspirant,
Coming at rank 340,045 in the general category, it is extremely less likely to get admission in the Mining branch of GEC Keonjhar through the conventional state or national level counseling procedures. GEC Keonjhar and its Mining branch tend to have much lower closing ranks, usually ranging from a few thousands to tens of thousands, based on the year and exam.
You can consider applying to other colleges with lower cutoffs or look into management quota or lateral entry if possible. Additionally, continue to check official counseling sites for updates on the latest cutoffs and available seats.
