GITAM Bhubaneswar Facilities

The Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, offers a host of facilities to enrich student life. GITAM facilities include sport facilities, medical facilities, Laboratories for each specific domain. It provides separate hostels for boys and girls, ensuring comfortable accommodation. The Knowledge Centre, a sprawling 9000 sq.ft. central library serves as an intellectual resource. Health and wellness are prioritized with a well-equipped health center offering first aid and other medical facilities. GITAM, Bhubaneswar also promotes physical fitness and sportsmanship with various indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Additionally, the institute provides transport facilities for students’ convenience. These amenities collectively foster a conducive learning environment at GITAM Bhubaneswar.

Boys Hostel
The Institute has a full board for residential students. First Year boys hostel is presently located inside the campus and can accommodate up to 150 students. A double floored central library of 9000sq.ft. carpet area, named as Knowledge Centre. In-campus hostels for gents – an abode for 1100 students. The rooms are spaciously designed to accommodate either two or three students all have attached toilets and bathrooms. The college provides 100% hostel facilities.
Girls Hostel
The Institute has a full board for residential students. girls hostels are in the town at Khandagiri Square which can accommodate 120 students. A double floored central library of 9000sq.ft. carpet area, named as Knowledge Centre. In campus hostels for both ladies and gents – an abode for 1100 students rooms are specious & designed to accommodate either two or three students & all have attached toilets, bathrooms. The college provides 100% hostel facilities. For the Girls' Hostel outside the campus college bus is available.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. The college has a well-equipped medical facility within the campus to provide first-hand emergency services to Faculty members and students. Serious cases are generally transferred to any city hospital in Bhubaneswar. The institute provides 24 hours of ambulance service.
Gym
The college has a Gym facility for the students. The Institute has three well-equipped moderated single station Gymnasium Hall both for boys and girls in different hostels. In the boy's hostel, a wide range of equipment like Bench Press, Butterfly, Cable Cross Over, Preacher, Leg press AB Crunch, Dumbbells, and Rubber Plates have been provided for their physical fitness. The Girl's hostel is also equipped with modern exercise tools like a motorized Treadmill, AB King Pro, Exercise Bike Stepper Twister, Gym Ball, And Vibrator. Apart from the above facilities, yoga classes are regularly organized in the Institute by Art of Living and other Spiritual foundations. Various indoor and outdoor game facilities like Cricket, volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Chess, Cand arom are available in the Institute. Students actively participate in various sports activities under the guidance of a well-skilled and experienced Sports Officer. Separate playgrounds are available in the Institute premises for the above games and sports activities. Every year several intramural games competitions are held among the students and selected students participate in the district level and state-level competitions.
Library
The college has a library facility for all students. No Of Books Available In Central Library - 15000+Number of Journals available in central Library - 2000+ E-Library Facilities Available.
Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Cafeteria
The college provides 200 capacity canteens with an Aqua guard chilled water facility. There are facilities for vegetarians and Non-Vegetarian, delicious foods in the college canteen just to provide nutritious, hygienic, and homely food to keep them fit keeping an eye on their day-to-day needs.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Transport Facility
The Institute has 9 (nine) buses each with 52 seating capacity. Interested student of the institute is provided transport from specified points of Bhubaneswar, Khordha, and Cuttack route to campus and back. The timings and other operational details of the transport are notified on the Institute Notice Board. Entry into the bus is on the basis of the production of the I-Card. A faculty member in charge of the transport section looks after the arrangements. Any difficulty with respect to the transport should be brought to the notice of the transport in charge.
Alumni Associations
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
Wifi
The college has a Wi-Fi facility for students and staff. The whole campus is now having WI-FI connectivity.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

College Infrastructure

Smart classrooms, current labs, and excellent athletic venues are all highlights of the beautifully built campus at GITA Autonomous College. A beneficial to students atmosphere is created by the clean canteen, speed Wi-Fi, and healthy context.

The best college is my college.

My college classrooms are so neat and clean. The projector they plays for classes to study the students are so big and very advanced technology the wifi facility is so available. The laboratories have very advanced equipments in my college.

Pay less gain more in my college.

The infrastructure of my college is very nice. The atmosphere of my college is peaceful the air and trees around my college attracts the students and they can study concentrated. The classrooms are so nice ans big projectors are there to teach.
