Government Ayurved College, Nanded Admission Process

Government Ayurved College, Nanded (GAC Nanded) offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Ayurveda, approved by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM). The admission process is merit-based for its various courses.

For undergraduate admission, the college follows the Maharashtra State common admission procedure for the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) program, with an intake of 125 students.

For postgraduate admission, GAC Nanded offers MD and MS programs, with admission based primarily on the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). Application Process

For BAMS:

  1. Apply through Maharashtra State AYUSH Admission Portal: Candidates must visit the state admission portal to fill out the application form.

  3. Application Fee: Pay the application fee as specified by the state authorities.

  4. Centralized Admission Process: Participate in the state's centralized admission process.

For MD/MS Programs:

  1. Qualify AIAPGET: Candidates must appear for and qualify the AIAPGET examination.

  2. Register for State PG Counseling: Candidates must register for the state's PG Ayurveda counseling process.

  3. Submit Application: Fill out the application form for GAC Nanded through the designated portal.

  4. Document Upload: Upload necessary documents, including BAMS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, and AIAPGET score card.

  5. Pay Application Fee: Complete the application fee payment.

  6. Participate in Counseling: Attend the counseling process as per the schedule.

Degree-wise Admission Process

  • BAMS: Admission to the BAMS program is based on the Maharashtra State common admission process. The college offers 125 seats for this undergraduate program. Eligibility requires completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

  • MD/MS Programs: Admission to postgraduate MD and MS programs is based on AIAPGET scores. The following specializations are offered:

    • MD Kayachikitsa (4 seats)

    • MS Shalya Tantra (7 seats)

    • MS Shalakya Tantra (6 seats)

    • MD Swasthvrutta (3 seats)

    • MD Rognidana (7 seats)

    • MD Rasashastra and Bhaishjya Kalpana (2 seats)

    • MD Kriya Sharir (7 seats)

    • MD Ayurved Samhita Siddhant (3 seats)

    • MD Dravyaguna (3 seats)

    • MD Kaumarbhritya (7 seats)

    • MD Rachana Sharir (4 seats)

    • MD Prasuti Tantra and Striroga (3 seats)

For all MD/MS programs, candidates must have completed their BAMS degree and qualified in the AIAPGET examination. The final selection is based on merit and other state-set criteria.

I am pursuing BAMS from this college. The label of teaching is good and teaching Faculty is supportive. In Hospital the patient flow is good enough for practice. Hospital has sufficient staff and residents doctors.

Your rank around 450 but you are not mention your category so if I assume you are from UR CATEGORY than according to previous year cutoff there are no chance to get seats in AIQ government college but you may get seats in BAMS or BHMS.
