Government College of Education, Nanded Admission Process

Government College of Education, Nanded, is an esteemed teacher training institution among others in India. Situated in Maharashtra, this co-educational institution has completed more than five decades of its establishment as a leader in education. Application Process

The application procedure for Government College of Education, Nanded will differ according to the course:

For the B.Ed and M.Ed courses:

1. Candidates should check for the advertisement of admissions from college sites or that of the affiliated university.

2. Application form can either be downloaded or collected from the college office.

3. Application needs to be filled in accurately with genuine personal and academic details.

4. Attach all necessary documents including:

  • Passport size photographs
  • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (Bachelor's degree for B.Ed, B.Ed for M.Ed).
  • Entrance score card (if required).

9. If selected, within the stipulated time, proceed with admission formalities like document verification and fee payment. 

For Ph.D Education (Part-Time):

1. To check for Ph.D. admissions, visit the college/university website.

2. Collect and fill the Ph.D. application form.

3. Submit applications along with all necessary documents, including:

  • Master's degree certificates and mark sheets
  • Research proposal
  • Any documents stated by the college/university

4. Pay the application fee for Ph.D.

5. To join the entrance test and/or interview as programmed by the college.

6. If selected, undergo all verification and conduct payment of fees within the time available for the admission process.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The Government College of Education B.Ed program is a two-year full-time course with intake up to fifty students. For B.Ed, the admission procedure is carried out based on the merit considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (s) or in the entrance examination (s). Merit criterion follows the policy of the State Government and UT Administration and the University. The candidates should complete his or her Bachelors Degree or equivalent from a recognized University to be eligible for B.Ed.

M.Ed (Master of Education): The M.Ed program is also a two-year full-time course and has a sanctioned intake of 50 students. Purely merit-based will be the admissions process for M.Ed in which the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the entrance examination or any other selection process specified in the state government's/university's/UT administration guidelines will be taken into account. For admission to M.Ed, candidates must have qualified B.Ed or a recognized equivalent degree.

Ph.D. Education (Part Time): It also offers PhD Education by Part Time. Details regarding admission to the PhD program are not clearly stated, but candidates are expected to have completed M.Ed or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution. A PhD program is usually organized by an entrance test and/or interview, evaluating candidates' research proposals.
