Government College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru Admission Process

Government College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru (GCP) is a prestigious institution imparting pharmaceutical education. The college offers courses on pharmaceutical sciences delving into various levels of studies. The selection for candidates to the different courses at GCP is done through an examinational process designed to identify the talented and worthy few. The admission season at GCP generally synchronizes with the commencement of any academic year that runs from August-September. In total, six full-time programs of diploma, undergraduate, and master's levels are offered in Pharmacy by the college.

In the case of undergraduate admissions, GCP gives major weight to the performance of students who sang in the Common Entrance Test (CET) that is conducted by the Director of Medical Education, Government of Karnataka. In the option of postgraduate, admissions are granted based on performance in the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET); rules and regulations set forth by the affiliated university and government apply here. Eligibility criteria differ with processes. For the D.Pharma and B.Pharm, the requirement is that the candidates must have finished their 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

B.Pharma: The Bachelor of Pharmacy program's intake is also 60. Admission to the B.Pharma program is by means of CET Counseling by the Director of Medical Education, Government of Karnataka. For admission, the candidates need to qualify for the CET and attend the counseling for allocation of seats.
