If you have scored a cutoff of 188 in TNEA and are aiming for admission into Government College of Technology GCT Coimbatore, you stand a decent chance depending on the competition for that year and the community category you belong to. GCT Coimbatore is one of the top-tier government engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu and is known for its low fees and high academic standards.
As a government institution, the tuition fee is very nominal. For BE or BTech programs, the annual tuition fee is usually between five thousand to seven thousand rupees only. Other expenses such as examination fees, development charges, and student welfare contributions may slightly increase the total yearly academic cost to around ten to fifteen thousand rupees. For students availing hostel facilities, the hostel fees are also minimal, ranging approximately from eight thousand to twelve thousand rupees per year, excluding mess charges.

Hello,
It could be difficult to get accepted to Government College of Technology (GCT) Coimbatore for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) if you fall into the SC category and have a TNEA cutoff of 175. The closing ranks for SC candidates in 2024 were roughly 22,402 for ECE and 22,580 for CSE. Usually, these ranks translate into cutoff scores that are higher than 175. However, depending on variables like applicant performance and seat availability, cutoffs may change every year. Investigate other respectable engineering schools where your cutoff more closely matches past admission patterns. You can increase your chances of getting a seat in the branch of your choice by taking part in the TNEA counselling process and thinking about other options.
All the best for your future!!!
A cutoff of 145 for B.Tech Food Technology at Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore is considered excellent.
Why 145 is Excellent:
For General Category students, a cutoff of 145 is significantly lower than the typical closing ranks for Food Technology at GCT, which are usually much higher.
The closing rank for Food Technology in GCT was around 17,230 in previous years, so your rank of 145 places you well within the top candidates.
Hi aspirant,
The cutoff for ECE at Government College of Technology (GCT) Coimbatore in 2025 will be determined by the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counseling procedure, which takes into account your Class 12 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Hey there! Glad to see you.
You're right, it looks like we're missing some data on the 2023 placements. That's a bit of a bummer, isn't it? I've been poking around the site too and couldn't find much either.
Tell you what, since you're new here, why don't we team up to dig into this? It could be a great project for you to get your feet wet. We could reach out to some of the colleges or maybe check with our data team to see what's up.
In the meantime, is there anything specific you're looking to find out about the 2023 placements? Maybe I can help point you in the right direction or we can brainstorm some ideas on how to get that info. Let me know what you're thinking!
