-------- Your profile suggests you are from Maharashtra, so I would help you with college details in Maharashtra.

To predict the odds of you getting a MBBS seat in a Government Medical College through State Counseling is quite an uphill task as Cut-offs for colleges change every year depending upon several factors such as-
• Number of applicants in NEET exam
• NEET question paper difficulty level
• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result
• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to increase compared to last year.

Hello candidate,
Most of the government colleges nowadays, have a compulsory bond agreement for the medical students to compulsory serve their initial practice years in the rural areas. Some of the colleges however don't have any such bond such as- Delhi University, BHU, AMU, JIPMER, AIIMS.
Hope you found it helpful. If you have any other questions regarding any educational related topics, feel free to post it here!
Hello dear candidate,

Hope you are doing well,

Here,I am unable to know about examination you are talking about and your question is incomplete, so can you please ask your question once again with maximum information you can give in question related to your doubt.
Sorry for inconvenience,

Thank you.
Hi,
With the marks of 491 in NEET and also belonging to the OBC category, the chances of getting a seat in government medical colleges might be low. However you may try for private medical colleges which might be quite possible enough. However the cutoff varies every year and also statewise. So you may definitely try to opt for the government colleges. Hoping for the best. For more information refer to
