BA: Government Degree College, Avanigadda provides BA courses in History, Economics, and Political Science with 60 admissions. There is also a general BA course with 30 seats. Admission is through the marks scored in the entrance exam.

B.Sc: The college provides different B.Sc courses such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (60 seats), Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science (50 seats), and Computer Science, Mathematics and Data Science (30 seats). Admission is merit-based in the 10+2 examination with emphasis on science subjects.

B.Voc: A Bachelor of Vocation in Aquaculture is provided with 30 seats. Admission is merit-based and interest in the subject.

M.Com: The college has an M.Com course with 40 seats. Admission is done according to marks scored in the bachelor's degree.

MA Economics: The postgraduate course has an intake of 40 students. Admission is according to performance in the relevant bachelor's degree.
