Government Degree College, Rudraprayag is one of the premier institutions for learning in Uttarakhand, India. It is a co-educational college with over a decade and a half of quality education. GDCR is affiliated to a university and offers undergraduate programs across different streams. Admission to Government Degree College, Rudraprayag is organized with fairness and transparency. With regard to some courses such as BBA and B.Sc. in Horticulture Hons, the college uses admissions based on scores in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG); it is a very important part of the admission process at a national level for those two courses.

The CUET UG exam for the next academic session shall be conducted from May 15, 2025, to May 24, 2025. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc. Horticulture Hons: This course is specialized, and it has an intake capacity of 60 seats. Admissions are based on CUET UG scores. Candidates from science backgrounds in 10+2 are eligible to apply.

B.Sc. Mathematics Group and B.Sc. Biology Group: Each of the two programs has a capacity of 60 seats. In general, admission is done based on 10+2 marks in the relevant subjects, but details will be available from the college.

BA Tourism Management: This program has a capacity of 60 seats. The details related to the admission process should be verified by checking on the college website, which might have certain particular requirements in relation to the tourism field.

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): This program, which has only 30 seats, shall make its admission process reliant on CUET UG scores. Eligibility shall be determined based on qualifications in any stream in 10+2.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): This program accommodates 30 students. Admission does not always consider the CUET UG scores, but candidates are advised to check the specific admission criteria as published by the college.
