Government Law College Ernakulam, founded in 1874, is one of the oldest government run law colleges in India situated at Ernakulam, Kochi, Kerala. B.Com LLB: The five-year integrated course has an intake of 120 students. Admission is through KLEE, and candidates who have completed their 10+2 are eligible to apply.
LLM Commercial Law: The College offers an L.M. Commercial Law with 15 students' admission. Admission is through the entrance test held by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations of the Government of Kerala. For eligibility, a candidate must have completed an LLB degree.
LLM Criminal Law: This programme has 15-seats capacity, with the same admission procedure as the LLM Commercial Law, which requires candidates to pass an entrance test conducted by the state authority.
Ph.D. Law: The college provides doctoral training in Law. Though specific information about the entry is lacking, the process likely involves its application and selection, including submission of a research proposal, and interview appeared likely.

The college does have a decent infrastructure but it can be improved on a lot of aspects. There is a beautiful library. There is Wi-Fi but the speed is not the best currently. The existing infrastructure is well - maintained.
