36 MonthsDiploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
For admission to a regular 3 years diploma course in engineering :
- Passed 10th examination from Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education or any recognized Board with Mathematics and Science as a subject.
- Obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination for General Category candidates.
- Only Pass percentage for SC, ST, OBC, and Physically disabled candidates.
Lateral Entry (Direct Admission To 2nd Year) :
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science /Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies /Entrepreneurship (Any of the three)
- OR
- Passed 10th + (2 years ITI) with appropriate Trade in that order shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) of appropriate Programme.
- OR
- Passed 10+2 (12th) examination with appropriate Vocational/Technical subjects.
