Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: The intake capacity for this program at Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy is 100. The admission for this four-year undergraduate course is based on a combined merit list of 10+2 examination and the written test conducted by the college. This degree has been structured to provide the candidates with a balanced exposure in pharmaceutical sciences.
D.Pharma: 60 seats are offered for the Diploma in Pharmacy course (D.Pharma). The admission procedure for D.Pharma is the same as B.Pharma, which considers the performance in 10+2 and the written test. The D.Pharma course is preferrable for interested students willing to study pharmacy for a short duration.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: The specialization in Pharmaceutics is available for postgraduate studies, with 10 seats. Admission will be based on the combined merit list of the qualifying examination and the written test. The one who has qualified B.Pharma is apply eligible for this specialized two-year M.Pharma program.
B.Pharma Lateral Entry: The college also has B.Pharma lateral entry with an intake of 10 students. This program permits holders of diplomas or those with appropriate qualifications to enter the B.Pharma program straight into the second year. The pattern of admission shall remain same as in other courses along the lines of merit and written test performance.
