Guru Nanak National College for Women, Nakodar Admission Process

Guru Nanak National College for Women, Nakodar, is a women's college in Punjab, India, affiliated to the pan-Indian network of colleges. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Arts, Commerce, Computer Applications, and Science. Admission to Guru Nanak National College for Women is purely on merit. Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: The college offers a Bachelor of Arts programme with different subject combinations. Admission is merit-based from the applicant’s performance in the 10+2 examination. The students can choose from a range of subjects like Punjabi, Political Science, etc.

B.Com: For applicants who have done their 10+2 in Commerce or any subjects equivalent to those, the Bachelor of Commerce program is available. Based on merit, selection is made from the qualifying examination.

BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications programme will be available to students on merit in their 10+2 examination keeping in mind that Mathematics or Computer Science would be an added benefit.

B.Sc.: The B.Sc courses include B.Sc economics, B.Sc non-medical, and B.Sc information science and technology. The admission to the categories is based on merit in 10+2 with additional requirements of eligibility subjects as per specialization.

M.Com: The Master of Commerce program requires candidates to have undergone their B.Com or equivalent degree. The entry is based on merit at the undergraduate level.

M.Sc Computer Science: For the M.Sc Computer Science, students should possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent discipline. Selection of candidates for this program will be based on the academic performance in graduation. 

MA: Punjabi, Political Science, and other subjects are offered under MA programs at the college. Admission is open to candidates with a relevant bachelor's degree in the discipline concerned, and entry depends on performance in the undergraduate examination.

PGDCA: The Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications can be taken by any student who has completed their graduation in any discipline. The admissions are made on merit according to UG results.
