Gyana Jyothi College of Pharmacy in Hyderabad (GJCP) is a well-established institution aimed at imparting training to its students in various pharmaceutical courses. The institution has gained a good name for imparting quality education in pharmacy, while admissions are based on set criteria and conducted duly to deserving candidates into the programs.
GJCP admissions follow the academic calendar of other Telangana state universities. Thus, the undergraduate admissions process usually starts after the announcement of TS EAMCET results, which is conducted each year in April-May.
For B.Pharma, one of the eligibility criteria is to pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as primary subjects. The candidate should have attempted the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) For M.Pharma programs, the candidate should be a graduate in B.Pharma from any recognized university. For selection, the admission would be based on GATE or TS PGECET scores followed by counseling.
These two entrance exams are very much considered for selection of GJCP:
1. TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test): Solely for B.Pharma joint admissions, this exam is conducted normally in the months of April-May with June being the month for result declaration.
2. TS PGECET (Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test): This is the examination given for M.Pharma selection. The exam is primarily held in June and the results announced in July.

Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: The B.Pharma program is a 4-year course with a capacity of approved 100 students for admission into Gyan Jyothi College of Pharmacy. Candidates for admission in this study will be selected on the basis of TS EAMCET merit. Candidates should have qualified the TS EAMCET examination, which was conducted under Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education, Hyderabad.
M.Pharma: Several specializations of M.Pharma offered by GJCP each are of two years' duration. The admission process for all
M.Pharma courses is similar. The candidate must be GATE qualified or appeared for the TS PGECET examination. The following
M.Pharma specializations are being offered by GJCPS:
1. M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics
2. M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis
3. M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Management and Regulatory Affairs
4. M.Pharma in Industrial Pharmacy
Eligible candidates with GATE/TS PGECET are going to be considered for admission in all M.Pharma programs.
